Even the bloke who's always in the studio or that other bloke (im good me) and get decent co-commentators as well like Matt Jones, Colin Gibo, Ali Mock etc Gary Rowett has been excellent the times he's been on.

Yeah, all of them except Rowett would be great.

Is he really a Derby fan??? what a willy puller!

He seems to be.

Don't think he's ever openly confessed to it, but I may be mistaken

If anyone thinks thats the first time Barber's talked to Milan its not. Any journo worth their salt would have already spoken to Milan several times, and I'm sure Barber already has. Given Milan's track record I'm sure they'll already have spoken several times- its to both individual's mutual benefit.

This is not to say I like Barber though of course...

There must be someone who supports City who can commentate

There is. The guy who does the commentary for Reading (commercial station not the BBC) and also recently did Charlton-Chelsea on Capital is a lifelong City fan.

Yeh thanks for that Sherlock  He's interviewed him many time's but you'd think he'd officially welcome him to the club before asking any negative questions. ;)

No you wouldn't- journo's get straight to the point!

Milan's not likely to take it personally- they're best buds!

Didnt know Barber was a Derby fan til today,

that explains why he talks so much shite!!

Crap commentaries and a real smugness in his voice!

If he was a city fan i'd still want rid of him though!!

when on the moan in he seemed to enjoy the fact we think he is a total tard...

why dont we just borrow the neil warnock chant for him, if n block and l1 get it going it would probly be picked up on the mic and then maybe the beeb will boot him off

Barber OUT!

Taggart IN!

Taggs was class when he was on the commentary team.

Sinclair + Taggart, what a team.

I personally favour a duo Taggart/Eadie!

Arlo works full time for national radio. He's been commentating on England down under.

Talk to Collymore - he's the man to discuss all things anti-Barber.

March 22nd is the date is closes this year - over a month away.

As I said, if it's anti-Barber you're after, Collymore's your man.

Make that two. Barber grates on me bigtime - and it's getting worse!.

Not that he's the only one.

With programmes that are supposed to be principally about Leicester City wouldn't it be nice to hear commentary and reaction from people with a passion for Leicester City, people who live and breathe the club.

That's not to suggest ignoring the truth of what happens but even in telling the truth you can to fly the flag with pride and comment with a bit of attitude, as if you care about what the Hell is going on.

Right now the match-day commentary and the Moan In from reading what fans say just lacks energy, drive and impetus.

That's where i've heard him before!Does a column in the program as well and just strikes me as a good broadcaster.

There may be big change's coming the moan in's way soon.

I get the feeling that MM could be processing The Birch's P45 now so let's hope he has a one way ticket back to East Ham.

Quote from Arlo White's profile:

Worst job?

As a full-time kitchen porter for about nine months when I was 19. 'Orrible it was, 4pm until it was spotless, five shifts a week.

Walking in and seeing a mountain of washing up literally 7ft tall still ranks among the most soul destroying sights of my life (especially on a Saturday afternoon when I could and should have been at Filbert Street)

Although I doubt RL's budget would stretch to getting a national reporter on board

Barber is shite, the Moan in was once a proper fans phone in when nev did it, regardless of his cov connections. But the only calls you get now (if any) seem to be from people reminising about the 50's 60's & 70's, from people who dont go anymore.

They claim no one calls in now, do you think they just dont put people on in case they ask Barber a tough question.

Dont forget we pay his wages.

We should sing this when he is next commentating on RL so he can't cut it out.

Build a bonfire,

Build a bonfire,

Put John Barber on the top,

We'll put the Derby in the middle,

And we'll burn the fooking lot!
