Did anyone else hear Horsefield's interview on the radio after the game? He came across really well and seemed a decent down to earth guy. Can't remember the exact words but he said something like "the gaffer is different class". Seems like most of the players have a lot of time for Kelly, and maybe not geting rid straight away was a shrewd move.

Two back to back wins is not going to push us up anywhere near the play-offs. We need 8 or 9 more to even stand a chance. Yes we've had two good results, and yes I'm happy(er) with how things are going, but some of the same problems still remain. If we'd have started a little run at the turn of the year then it MAY have been possible, but I think its too late now...

Face it. It's NOT going to happen.

I get a feeling Mandaric's desicion was based more on his conversations with the players rather than his conversations with RK.

And yeah, we'd need about 35-40 points to get a playoff spot. From 14 games. That'd be about 12 wins. We won one game. One. Against a completely dire side.

Not 'appening.

Delighted with the game and Johnson - but sensible enough to remember our inconsistency and poor runs of form this season.

Was it us playing well, was it Cov playing badly and can we continue this into our future matches?

Top first half performance, everyone was so eager to win the ball and close down which is good to see. Faded a bit in the second half but we had already done enough. Cov were very poor, but overall a good performance and a great result.

No one believes that for a second, you were just downloading porn again weren't you?

lol

That fine Glaswegian lady happens to be my gf, so it's probably not what you were thinking.

Dirty people.

But she loves football, so it's quite acceptable to have the commentary in the background

Very pleased to see us score 3 at home, win the game and keep a clean sheet. Against Cov. Brilliant. :D

The thing that worries me is that we'll hit another poor run of form and end up back in the scrap. We're too inconsistent.

Which is the reason I would love for the Milan honeymoon period to continue. :P;)

Committed, well drilled, high intensity for the first half, smarts in the second... courage... what else can I say but WHERE HAS THAT BEEN... lol

That was the Leicester City I like to see... I knew Horse would have a good game, he looked like doing it last game... and it seems that now that things are settled, the side is starting to concentrate on football and keeping spots for next season.

They looked strong, they played as a team and never stopped trying, ok it was against Coventry, but if they can keep playing like that, the future with Milan is looking bright, add the loan signings and transfers we can get with money, and really the sky is the limit.

I am a proud Leicester fan today... that is more like it... and lets hope it can continue, WELL DONE BOYS ON A GOOD PERFORMANCE.. :D :D

And to those who were calling relegation here a few weeks back... no more bringing up the thread please... we should look up not down now... :)

P.S. To Candid Camera's comments... why should he be assessing it... we have money now, may as well get two and see how they go.... we should be looking to improve, not stay stagnant... ;)

IMO, they did that performance because they're cr*pping themselves and playing for their futures !!

Cov stepped it up a bit 2nd half too, they brought Kyle on and that gave them a bit more up front, first half we made them look dreadful with some really good incisive play. Not only does Horsefield hold it up well but the midfield are close enough to receive his lay off's. Big difference. Not impressed with Yeates on saturday, too many mistakes and tried to run though people rather than by them. AJ was outstanding first half. I can live with 2nd half's like that if we do the business 1st half.

Hardest working people on the pitch were the flag waving kids in the centre circle waiting for MM to appear, their flipping arms must have been hanging off when he finally made his appearance. Good reception for him.

No disrespect too Paddy Mac but we are winning without him in the side.... Coincidence? I mentioned that he was a liability a while back and that he has cost us points. Wearing a heart on your sleeve doesnt help with points on the board.

Long live McAuley and Norbs
