MADLEVEIN Posted 21 January 2005 Posted 21 January 2005 some posts have suggested we move the kop to the opposite end of the ground to create a better atmosphere, would this be a good move?

Collymore Posted 21 January 2005 Posted 21 January 2005 Why not just mix the home and away fans and hand out weapons at the entrance, That would be fun
MADLEVEIN Posted 21 January 2005 Author Posted 21 January 2005 Why not just mix the home and away fans and hand out weapons at the entrance, That would be fun 57111 nah prices would go up
Hullfox Posted 21 January 2005 Posted 21 January 2005 Surely we'd get a better atmosphere if we could have fans who made a noise once in a while.

Wellman Posted 21 January 2005 Posted 21 January 2005 Why not just mix the home and away fans and hand out weapons at the entrance, That would be fun 57111 WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!! On a serious note, i would like the kop changed round, would create a better amosphere but i doubt they would allow it
filbertway Posted 21 January 2005 Posted 21 January 2005 One of the main reasons there is such little atmosphere, is you sometimes feel stupid starting off a song because you dont think anyone will join in. There was never this problemat filbert street and never is the problem at away matches. Just a thougt anyway.

Teeno Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 I'd wouldn't be against the move, but thinking about it, L1 is great and if the kop moved a lot of the people from L1 would relocate to the new kop and would then be mixed amongst all the young kids and old granny's. and then the wouldn't be any atmosphere what so ever at the football.

john_lcfc Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 i think it would be a good idea but i would want it to be ADULT PRICES ONLY to stop all these 3 year olds in the current kop getting in.. this way the 2 blocks next to the away fans would be inhabited by L1ers and krazy kopites i hope.... getting a decent standing singing section at leicester back again? but shit happens

john_lcfc Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 If this happened you wouldn't be allowed in mate. for next season..im 16? are adult prices 18+.. another factor to consider .. id pay an 18+ price but i go to create an atmosphere and have a laugh and general good day out with mates at the footy blabla... hopefully the screamiong 4 year olods will bog off to the other end and scream over there if they only pay 1/2 to be in the family stand
Lemon Harpic Posted 5 February 2006 Posted 5 February 2006 Just a practical matter, but has anyone been in the North Stand, perhaps for the England - Serbia match or something? The reason I ask is that I don't know whether or not the North Stand has the same amount of beer-selling kiosks as the kop. Is the layout for both stands the same?
Guest Posted 6 February 2006 Posted 6 February 2006 If this happened you wouldn't be allowed in mate. You would, you'd just have to pay full price, that's all.
Swedging Posted 6 February 2006 Posted 6 February 2006 North Stand has 3 kiosks at the mo. 2 for BEER, pies, etc. and one for just food and soft drinks.
Strokes Posted 6 February 2006 Posted 6 February 2006 North Stand has 3 kiosks at the mo. 2 for BEER, pies, etc. and one for just food and soft drinks. Atmosphere is more important than fooking pies
City_4_Life Posted 6 February 2006 Posted 6 February 2006 Atmosphere is more important than fooking pies lol I think we should move the kop or move the away fans, because sitting next to the away fans while they are singing out load will also get our fans singing hence a better atmosphere. Also the kop doesnt sound that loud from where the away fans sit so they just think it is a couple of people in L1 that just sing.
Guest Posted 6 February 2006 Posted 6 February 2006 It's a very sad day when people think we have to be next to the away fans to make some noise. Whilst banter can be amusing, we should be supporting the team, not taking the piss out of the opposition for 90 minutes. It only means they retaliate, spur on their own players and nick a winning goal.

Kingy Posted 6 February 2006 Posted 6 February 2006 The Club wont allow the move in my opinion as it would be harder for them to police two sections (either side of the away fans) of L1ers and Kopites ? (", If you want to move the kop to be next to the away fans why don't you buy tickets in L1?
