The Reverend Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Well do ya? I love it so what does everyone else think? Or perhaps you could give your ownbusiness ideas/ventures? Favourite Dragon? Post away!
Phube Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Qulity programme!! I like the Aussie chap, he'll put money into anything!!
Joe. Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 I like it. It's a good idea for a television programme and is quite entertaining at times when people come in with useless ideas and pitches
City Fan Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Like both Richard and Peter, can't stand Duncan or Deborah. Great program.
Guest Gist Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 I love watching it, my favourite programme on TV at the minute. I'm with Phube on this one the Aussie backs everyone almost!
The Reverend Posted 6 March 2007 Author Posted 6 March 2007 Yeah the Aussie's too nice at times!! Theo's alright aswel tho but at times its a bit like x factor (strange comaprison but wait for it) The way that people with terrible ideas stroll in there and they just get absoloutely grilled, a lot of the time by Peter Jones and they just make people look stupid (a bit like the way Simon Cowell does it on x factor). But its a great programme Yeah and with the woman (Deborah) i think they called it the Dragons Den just 'cos of her!!
Flexx Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 How could you not like it, the programme is pure genius!!!
dandannieldanok Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Wouldn't go as far to say as I love it but it is a good idea for a programme. Don't really have a favourite dragon, Richard is the least harsh though.

Milky Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 The first series was the best as at that time it was fresh and new. The format is starting to get a bit old now, but i still enjoy watching it.
Sly Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 Its a great program!! This should have been a poll! The ex Millwall chairman (Theo) is a bit hit and miss for me though. Can't work him out.
Tubes Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 quality programme one downside - Theo Paphitis (sp?) millwall scumbag really winds me up
Jay Posted 6 March 2007 Posted 6 March 2007 I think it's great especially when they get some idiot and shoot them down!!
cisono Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 No idea. Never seen. And I don't feel I am missing out. (Although I would not mind the funding hehe)
Milky Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 Chef's reggae sauce for Sainsbury's Wednesday March 7, 12:14 AM A chef who sang to impress investors on the TV show Dragons' Den will see thousands of bottles of his Reggae Reggae Sauce on Sainsbury's shelves. Levi Roots was making batches of the spicy sauce - a secret family recipe - in his kitchen in Brixton until four weeks ago when he asked the TV entrepreneurs for investment. The singer, who was nominated for best reggae singer at the 1998 MOBO awards, wanted £50,000 to expand and was offering 20% of his business in return. Peter Jones and Richard (Advertisement) Farley each offered £25,000 in return for a 20% stake in his company, leaving Levi with only 60%. Levi's risk paid off when Sainsbury's announced it was to sell Reggae Reggae Sauce at 607 stores for the next six months. The spicy jerk/barbecue sauce will sell for £1.49 in an exclusive deal arranged by Mr Jones. The supermarket will also sell Mr Roots' single Proper Tings (The Reggae Reggae Sauce Song) for £3.99. Mr Roots said: "I cannot believe what has happened to me since appearing on the show. It's been amazing and literally life changing. My phone has not stopped and it seems everybody everywhere wants a bottle of my sauce." The sauce was previously only available on Mr Roots' website or at the annual Notting Hill Carnival. He added: "The deal with Sainsbury's is a dream come true for me and my family, and seeing the sauce on the supermarket shelves is an emotional but enjoyable moment. Working with Peter has been fantastic, and I am grateful for his support and for introducing me to his business contacts." Levi's company, Roots Reggae Reggae Limited, has granted a licence to G. Costa & Company, in Gwent, South Wales, to manufacture tens of thousands of bottles of sauce while protecting his secret recipe which has been handed down his family's generations and was entrusted to him by his late Jamaican grandmother, Miriam.
Daggers Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 It'd be better if there were real dragons. And synchronised swimming would be better with sharks and lions in the pool.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 i like it, they used to make us watch it in buisness studies
Daggers Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 i like it, they used to make us watch it in buisness studies Lazy fecking teachers <_<
The Stig Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 i only got in to it through watching that fortune on ITV 1 and was told it was similar, yes I do watch it and its very good! Duncan is a legend!
Geo V Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 what day + time is it on ? I think its tonight at 8pm which is not good with all this Champs League footy on. I think its repeated once or twice but dont know when. My views is that it is a decent enough show. I wish they took more risks and not only invested in businesses that have a shed load of pre-orders or a business that is trading and already profitable. Maybe they should back ideas instead of taking a business thats is doing well and then getting involved to make it better with little risk. Its almost like a forum for the Dragons to get richer. I must admit I have had to chuckle at the shows that were on interviewing all of the people that they didnt invest in who have made it big!! Good!
