Zingari Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 this was a proper mass brawl ! The fight they are an embarrassment and disgrace to their clubs and countries if that sort of thing were to happen here , i would expect to see a lot more punches actually landed and a lot less running away ;
Stuliasz Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 It was David Navarro in the grey tracksuit who came round the back to break the Inter player's nose and then leg it which got me laughing. Great stuff!
Alexikokopops Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 It was David Navarro in the grey tracksuit who came round the back to break the Inter player's nose and then leg it which got me laughing. Great stuff! You can see that bit a lot better here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cPNV_xZy_8...ted&search=
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 If it was in England we'd get a lot more severly punished than the Itie's... FACT
Bloomer Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 It was David Navarro in the grey tracksuit who came round the back to break the Inter player's nose and then leg it which got me laughing. Great stuff! Absolutely appalling, how old are these overpaid macho men? They should banned from UCL for at least 2 years. There can be no excuse for such behaviour. However, totally absorbing and compelling viewing! I wet my self laughing at this bit. It was the way he had to evade the tackles and the kung fu kicks whilst running away that tickled me. But how does Navarro feel this morning? Big Jessie? Classic straight right tho, of course it helped that his victim was in a headlock at the time!!! Magic.
Finnegan Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 I'm still waiting for something to top Switzerland vs. Turkey.
Geo V Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 Inter are flying in Serie A drawing just 4 games and winning the other 22 and are 16 points clear of there nearest rivals so the must be so fudged off for not getting through as many thought that they would win the comp. Im not sure what started the fight but Inter have not only got moody Italians but a load of South American players and a first class nutter Swede in Ibrahimovic. They dont strike me as the best losers that have ever been seen???!!! Great entertainment though!
Sods Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 fight! fight! fight! just shows how aweful they are at tripping someone up. Even i could of tripped that bloke running round in circles
Jordan Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 this was a proper mass brawl ! That was neither proper, nor mass, nor a brawl. Everybody seemed to want a fight, but nobody wanted to get in trouble and nobody wanted to get hurt. Guess what, fellas--ya can't have yr cake and eat it, too. Burdisso got his nose broken, but that was a complete sucker-punch. The most fitting punishment that UEFA could give Valencia and Inter would be to send them to bed without supper. A punishment befitting of such childish behavior.
Wils Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 lol The bloke who starts running away,quality. Does that Valencia Player have one of them in headlock? Crazy Shit.
Master Fox Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 The only the disappointing thing was that I just wished the Inter players had brought down that Valencia player who was legging it in fear of being completely done over, he knew he was in for pasting after giving that other bloke a smack on nose.
Leonisco Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 Love it when Navarro smacks Burdisso in the face and just runs off! Comedy gold!! If it was in England we'd get a lot more severly punished than the Itie's... FACT Well said, UEFA have barely even done anything about that policeman who got killed yet.
lcfc_jme Posted 8 March 2007 Posted 8 March 2007 Not as good or violent as it's cracked up to be. It never tops the fight in the La Liga game which was televised on Sky not all that long ago. Now that was a proper fight!
shen Posted 8 March 2007 Posted 8 March 2007 If it was in England we'd get a lot more severly punished than the Itie's... FACT It's not a FACT, it's a silly assumption. The only FACT here is that you're whining as much as Italian football fans do
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 March 2007 Posted 8 March 2007 Love it when Navarro smacks Burdisso in the face and just runs off! Comedy gold!! Well said, UEFA have barely even done anything about that policeman who got killed yet. What the **** has that got to do with UEFA. It was after a Serie A match It's the Italian FA's call their the governing body.
Leonisco Posted 8 March 2007 Posted 8 March 2007 What the **** has that got to do with UEFA. It was after a Serie A match It's the Italian FA's call their the governing body. Yes but if it's something as serious as the death of a policeman then surely UEFA would get involved? Basically what I was getting at is that if it had happened here they'd probably have banned all our clubs from Europe or something like that.

Basically what I was getting at is that if it had happened here they'd probably have banned all our clubs from Europe or something like that. No they wouldn't. I don't know why some people have a massive chip on their shoulder RE this matter, As I've said before give me one good example of a English team being banned from Europe and not fully deserving it, and when we did get banned it was because of our behaviour in a UEFA competition, UEFA hand out the punishment. Crowd violence in this country would be delt with by the FA not UEFA no matter who died. UEFA never step into things that don't concern them, it's a Italian affair it's up to the Italian FA to punish the clubs not UEFA. Same with the match fixing in Italy, bugger all to do with UEFA it was not their decision to ban AC Milan Fiorentina Lazio and Juventus from Europe, and it was not ther decision to let AC Milan back in. Now if it all kicks off against during a European game ala Feyenoord. then it's UEFA who deal with it.
Finnegan Posted 8 March 2007 Posted 8 March 2007 Inter's Zlatan Ibrahimovic tries to calm the situation Ahahahahahahaha. Sure mate.
