Lineker's Left Foot Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Again, what a surprise, Cheski play sh*t and win at the death. God do they ever get any real bad luck?? They are crap to watch and seem to score with every shot that goes on target. Come on United, win the League for us eh??

Spee-d Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 That's what makes them a championship winning team. They don't have to play well to win, they got players who can make something out of nothing.
lcfc_jme Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Not luck, just class Class my fooking arse. I hate watching Chelsea. I hate Chelsea. They are a boring team and they always get the rub of the fooking green. I can't wait 'til Abramavich pulls out, Mourinho leaves and it all goes tits up for them. See how full their fooking stadium is then. C*nts.
Spee-d Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 I get the feeling you don't like Chelsea very much. Tis true they play boring football at times - counter attack. But they do win games.

Cockney c*nts !!
lcfc_jme Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 For a team that is as rich as Chelsea, and for a team that has spent as much money as they have, they shouldn't be beating teams like Watford in the last minute of the game. They shouldn't even be playing shit. Their football should be immense and they should be playing teams off the park, scoring many goals in the process. Again, I seriously can't wait for it to go tits up for them. It's bound to happen.
Brainy Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 It's hardly luck. Look at their injuries this season. This season hasn't been a walk through the park, compared to the last two seasons. Its more to do with their never say die attitude.
lookwhaticando Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Watford didn't deserve to lose. Chelsea didn't deserve to win. All in all a very poor result as far as I'm concerned.
lcfc_jme Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Too late for chelsea to win the league anyway imo. I'd be very, very happy if it was. I used to feel the same way about Man United - mainly because Arsenal were their main tital rivals and I wanted Arsenal to win the league. I just think what with Chelsea constantly spending 4 or 5 times that of what their rivals are spending that the whole thing is becoming ridiculous. It's just arrogance in my opinion. I'm a bit touchy when it comes to people going completely over the top in showing off. I'd have expected a team worth as much of theirs to completely romp the league and play eye-catching football. They haven't done any of the two.
Spee-d Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Their money doesnt really bother me. The sheer arrogance of the manager and some of the players does, but they do have character in their team. Still, Man Utd deserve it this season. By the way if you look back on the whole season you'll see luck has been on Man Uniteds side this whole season, so this post is a bit odd.
dandannieldanok Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 They may be lucky but 99 times out of 100 they get the job done. They have a ruthless streak that Leicester need to learn ahead of next season.

You can see he loves the club when they score etc.
Joe. Posted 31 March 2007 Posted 31 March 2007 Oh I hope Chelsea don't win the league this season. I just want to laugh at them to say "ha, spending all that money hasn't won you the league".
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Oh I hope Chelsea don't win the league this season. I just want to laugh at them to say "ha, spending all that money hasn't won you the league". Yes, but 99.9% of Manchester United fans think they are a fountain of football knowledge when their actually are clueless arm chair supporting idoits who speak with a southern accent and couldn't find their way to Old Trafford if their life depended on it. Oh and the worst thing about, when they win something you never hear the ****ing end of it, it's even worse now they don't do the double every season as the as it means more to them. Can't stand em. As a football team I have to say a prefere Man u, overall I can't stand either of them.
Flynny Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 I'm sick of hearing how flukey wins are 'a sign of class' or 'the sign of champions'. Sure, if most weeks you crush all before you and you win on the odd occasion that you play badly, fair enough. But when you play boring football every week and consistantly nick things at the death, it's hardly classy. Arsenal's unbeaten season, that was class.

You are probably my new favourite poster on here. I hate Chelsea. There's no way they're going to keep grinding out wins when they don't deserve them. If they continue playing like this they'll slip up sooner or later. And by that time they'll have lost the title. Thank God.

I can see how it would be a sign of individual class, that they have players that can save them out of nowhere, but it says nothing for the team that they play that shockingly that regularly despite their massive price. I can't decide whether they're a bit better than last season or not though. At least they have a striker scoring regularly now.
Finnegan Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 I get the feeling you don't like Chelsea very much.Tis true they play boring football at times - counter attack. But they do win games. Fock off. That makes it sound like counter attacking football has to be boring, regimented, souless nonsense. Do you ever watch the Gooners? Phube can blow me, tbh ( Phube) because Arsenal are a bloody magical side who've built up a generation of sexy football based around the pure idea of smooth, skillful counter attacking football. I love watching Arsenal on form and the addition of Rosicky this season has only given them more appeal. I can't really see why any fan of good football could dislike them, really. With the exception of their local rivals, of course. They play good football, have a hard and dedicated support, have a clever (if slightly media-unfriendly) manager and still manage to field a squad average age about 12. And their only flaw? They don't play British players, meh, that's hardly their fault uniquely - blame the FA, blame UEFA, blame FIFA. Until rules are instigated to change it, Wenger's going to keep doing what he can to win. Good on him. What have Chelsea got in contrast? A hat full of rent a fans, a silent stadium, a souless billionaire, some boring 30 year olds, a boring top goalscorer, a mouthy tosser at the helm and the tactical finesse of the First Soviet Infantry. edit: wow... that was a rant.

I'm not sure, but I do know that on the whole they play much more entertaining, exciting and ambitious football than what Chelsea do.

Arsenal usually play through an opposition though. Yes, Arsenal Man utd and Liverpool all counter attack, everyone does it can get you goals. But Chelsea away from home only rely on counter attack. A defensive style play, hit them on the break. I dont think that was the case with Arsenal.
