Bluefoxtim Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 Had cloudy tap water past couple of days... I think it tastes different (not refreshing and quite heavy!) Anyone else had this, and why does it happen?
Cobbo Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 It's generally at this point that you call a plumber or the water board and also buy bottled water until it is fixed, or at least boil it first
Daggers Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 I think it tastes different (not refreshing and quite heavy!) Mmmmmmmm...full of lead-y goodness. Yum.
Flynny Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 Been like that for a couple of days for me. We were told not to drink it.
blue blood Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 it was really bad on thursday, but yes!!!! OMG i thought it was just my area.... i think if the poor ppl in 3rd workd countries can drink mud/seweage water and live on i think a splash of slightly unpurified water wont kill, if you are not convinced boil it beforehand and leave in the fridge should be fine, use hot water for personal sanitation..
Bryn Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 If you're all getting it it sounds like there's probably a problem with your main water pipe down there, get onto the council about it.
Rincewind Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 Add a few hops, sugar boil it let it stand a few days bottle it and label it Stella and flog them to your mates. You'll make a fortune.
Finnegan Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 Buy a filter? You should try drinking London water, mate.
davieG Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 If you're all getting it it sounds like there's probably a problem with your main water pipe down there, get onto the council about it. It's got sod all to do with the council, it'll be one of the water companies Severn Trent etc.
Daggers Posted 6 April 2007 Posted 6 April 2007 Get it down your necks you bunch of pooftahs. In my day we had to drink straight from the cess pit.
