Can someone please clear up why he doesnt play? or is he injured again? hes always injured it seems. he seems overweight as well :dunno:

Am i the only one that thinks he has been hyped up too much and will never be a regular starter for Leicester, especially not when we get into the premiership IMO.

Think were probably just taking our time with him, He come straight back from injury last season and he broke his leg again, I think he'll play quite regular next season, providing he is in the managers plans.

I agree with you.

No point risking him really, give him the extra few months to recuperate those bones.

Plus Kelly loves Johnson

He has suffered a couple of serious injuries and with that although they say he has recovered and at times this season he has played well enough to think he has, we dont know for 100% sure whether he still has problems on the injury or recovery front from his original leg break. I think he doesnt need to be rushed at this stage as he is still young and hopefully with a good pre-season we will see a 100% Weso.

Kelly has some deluded belief in the ability of “AJ†as a result Weso hasn’t got much of a lookin, that’s compounded by his problems with injury.

Weso’s got great ability but Kelly is incapable of nurturing even those players without a history of fitness and injury problems, so when it comes to someone like Weso he’ll do even less for him IMHO.

... but with Kelly off some time around 5ish on Sunday 6th May (or soon there after) a new manager will probably be interested in Weso, and he’ll probably get his chance, while he’d be pretty much useless if thrown in at the deep-end now with a solid close season and the support of a competent manager he and some of the other younger players can transfer their potential into actual performances that amount to more than the “flashes in the pan†we’ve seen thus far. The likes of Fryatt, Stearman and Weso can only improve with the right coaching… something they patently have not been getting under the current, and soon to be dispensed with, coaching regime.

In addition to a decent pre-season with a new manager a spell on loan (two or three months) with regular football could do him the power of good and help with fitness levels and confidence, something I’d also be interested in entertaining when it came to Fryatt as well… I would want to see either loaned with a view to them being shipped out permanently but just to prepare them for a more central role in next season’s campaign.

Its very easy to blame RK for everything at the club from the pies to the singing in the stadium but to be fair to him on Weso, we dont exactly know whats wrong with the lad but I saw him the other week and he did look a little heavier than usual. Something isnt quite right with him so we wouldnt expect our manager to play an unfit player would we?

Yeah it's all Kellys fault :frusty:

He has had a lot of bad luck with injuries and it's a shame. When he has had a run in the team he has shown he can do a decent job in the center. At Fulham he was one of our better players when he replaced Tiatto and he got us a goal. I hope next season he can stay fit because I do think he can become a regular with a good run in the team and maintaining his fitness.

He's young. There is no need to rush him back to the first team right now. Keep him fit, maybe give him a few more run outs from the bench this season. It's vital that he, as well as everyone else especially Fryatt and Stearman, gets a good pre-season under his belt.

Buy quality in CM and use Weso as second choice in that position. Keeps the pressure off him, keeps him fit, allows him to get a full season behind him and then we can worry about including him in the first team.

He's f'ckd those 2 leg breaks have done him in, sadly.

We'll never see the great talent I am afraid.

Oh come on, the only match he plays properly (ie full game) this season he scores a great goal against Fulham. He is not over hyped. He remains a superb talent, otherwise the Australian FA is silly as well to call him up despite being still unfit.

But yep, you're right with Kelly we'll never get it out. Kelly may have ideas for him but I don't know.

I warned about the importance of not bringing Weso back too quickly in the first place but they did - and warned a second time this season to no avail.

Now, at last, I feel he's getting proper chance to rebuild his strength and confidence. I can see no great need for or point in rushing things in the present circumstances.

I don't know if there are any ongoing concerns about Weso - any belief that he won't recover completely - but I've always reckoned it can take up to a year to be right after a broken leg and especially for a still maturing youngster.

His sensible target should be the start of next season.

In not a fan of Weso, and agree with Barton.

I am a huge fan of Wesolowski thanks. Sadly I think he is finished which is a great shame.
