Stevosevic Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 I beg the naive fans on this forum not to carried away and hail Worthington the new messiah. even if we play well, even if win 5-0, Worthington is not the man for us. If we hired him it would be Rob Kelly all over again, wasted money and another dull season. He is here for 5 games and it should be no longer, we need Milan to make an appointment in the summer that will excite the majority of fans.

Master Fox Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 When was the last time we scored five goals in a competitve game. Sunderland about 7 years ago???

For fook's sake, give the guy a chance before judging him!!! It's gonna make his job so much harder if people like you get on his back before he's started. <_< He's not my ideal choice either, but I'm not displeased. He did a decent job with Norwich, I see no reason to criticize him.
Manwell Pablo Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Sunderland about 7 years ago??? Yeah sounds about right. probabley more like 8 years ago.

I am with you there even if we do play well I hope Milan just keep for the remaining games ONLY. Please Milan don't give the job full-time.

Leonisco Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 if he did a decent job why was he hounded out! Cos Norwich fans are a bunch of fickle tossers.

The People's Hero Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 I preferred Fez's early 90's reggae thread.
Zingari Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Cos Norwich fans are a bunch of fickle tossers. fickle tossing is banned nowadays
lookwhaticando Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Glad we've now got more than one Please God Don't Let Him Be Our Full-time Manager thread though Woo. Yay. I didn't think 10 was enough - plus the 12 page behemoth about him joining to begin with - and it turns out I was right, it wasn't enough. For fook's sake, give the guy a chance before judging him!!! It's gonna make his job so much harder if people like you get on his back before he's started. <_< He's not my ideal choice either, but I'm not displeased. He did a decent job with Norwich, I see no reason to criticize him. He's our manager... until he does something he should be criticized for, we should be behind him. He's not even been in the job 48 hours yet and people are ready and waiting with the banners and the anti-Wortho chanting. It's a ridiculous state of affairs.
Brainy Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 I'm sick of this. There's always one reason to be unhappy.
Mort Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 "IF" we win I think I'll be off down the Sore-Point to get hammered as we'll be pretty much safe... the managment issue can be determined in the summer IMHO, I'm not keen for it to be Worthy, but overall lets just let him do the job he's charged to do (ie manage Leicester for five games and make sure we're safe...somthing Kelly was incapable of doing) he's an improvment on Kelly and is in on a short time basis, so lets not get too excited one way or another.
jumbo mills Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 spot on worthington failed at blackpool and norwich
Bryn Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 spot on worthington failed at blackpool and norwich Yes, because promotion is failure. Idiot.
lookwhaticando Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 IF we win on saturday... I'm going to start a Worthington IN poll, just to wind you cranky bastards up! :)  :D :D
Brainy Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Yes, because promotion is failure. Idiot. Funny how you can't disagree with someone without calling them an idiot.
Bryn Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Funny how some people can't put views across without coming across as one.
