Cat Burger Posted 29 January 2005 Posted 29 January 2005 Their best song so far I think , agreed?? The British answer to the Killers.
TrickyTrev Posted 29 January 2005 Posted 29 January 2005 They are much better than the Killers, actually have their own querky sound. I can't wait for the album to be released they have already shown they have a diverse set of influences and are good songwriters, it will be so interesting to see what they some up with on an LP.
Babylon Posted 30 January 2005 Posted 30 January 2005 I prefer 'So Here We Are' to banquet personally... having had brief listen to some of their songs does anyone else detect a bit of early 80's influence in them. Very 2 stepish if thats the right name for it!

Nationwider Posted 9 February 2005 Posted 9 February 2005 I prefer 'So Here We Are' to banquet personally... 60930[/snapback] Great Record. They remind me of Ride at times - especially in this one. Fab drums.
Mark Posted 10 February 2005 Posted 10 February 2005 So here we are is quite a good song, gave their album Silent Alarm a listen but really dont like it.

Knighton Matt Posted 14 May 2006 Posted 14 May 2006 Awesome song so thought this thread deserved to be BUMPED!
Libertine Posted 14 May 2006 Posted 14 May 2006 'So Here We Are' rules. I like the riff to 'Helicopter' too.
MC Prussian Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 "Like Eating Glass" all the way, no other song on the album is that powerful and creates such vivid images in my mind... A track to get lost in.
Matt Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 Two More Years is an anthem! Great song, I also like Mike Skinner using the Banquet sample.
