Blackburn have a few.

Think a lot of them will be getting first team football at times this year though - worth looking at though.

Sergio Peter being one of those who could possibly be available, German winger, very flexible as regard left or right I'm led to believe.

Paul Anderson is a young Liverpool winger who must be 19 now, he's been at West Brom and Hull before he was snapped up by Liverpool. Didn't get through to the first team this year as they have so many wingers already, but has been brilliant for their reserves and has been on the bench for champions league games before. I went to school with him in Melton Mowbray and he's a local Leicester lad, so if Liverpool were willing to let him go on loan to us for the season or even we willing to let him leave he would be a great asset. he's pacey on the wings, something which we've lacked recently, skilful and can score goals from midfield too. He was a major part of the youth team that won the FA Youth Cup the other season, so he'd make a great addition if only a squad player. Definitely worth a look in my

opinion as he will not get any first team action this year with all the midfielders Liverpool are buying. He was born in Leicester and so I'm sure he would agree to a move if only temporarily on loan. A link to his profile on Liverpool's website is here:

Cardiff are already showing interest in signing him on loan for the whole season, so we need to jump the gun and secure his services for ourselves or end up missing out on a hot prospect!

Sounds promising. But is this Leicester lad really better than Gradel?

Cos up to now I've got fed up with people turning up on loan here who honestly don't merit a place in the first team - let alone our youithful, ex-Academy Reserves team. :D:D

Liverpool have signed a veritable smorgasbord of youth players this summer, mostly from abroad. We should delve into their trove.

I love a bit of trove-diving.

Rarely get the chance these days though - I'm restricted to the trove of the one I choose to be with.

Betrothed or Be-troved? Well, neither actually.

And that, my friends, is why we never beat West Ham at Upton Park.

If we're after a left back Elmer off Chelski would be worth a look, as would Traoré... then again I think Sheehan and Mattock will get their chances this season (Sheehan in particular seems to be working hard in pre-season to get a chance with the first team), I'm starting to wonder if the coaching staff see Mattock as being more likely to develop into a winger rather than a left back.

Beyond the left of defense... Merida is a player that I'll continue to hype, because he could be a real gem on a season long loan and provide some of the much vaughnted "creativity" in midfield... and I agree with dan that Sergio Peter could really help on the wings.

You pay a couple of quid extra and they drive to your house while they're frying the fish and chips in the back of the van. That way, it's fresh AND you don't have to leave your house to go and get it.

Literally just come up with that.

I always thought that Fish and Chips should deliver. I so often fancy it and yet end up going for Pizza/Chinese etc etc because they just do not deliver.

I like this idea.

I'm erm... I'm not writing the insurance cover for it though.
