I was doing stewarding for this, which meant I got free entry and free food and drink all weekend! :w00t: And last night we got to drink all the booze that was left over from the festival and I've only just sobered up! lol:D:cheers:

The Oasis, Queen and U2 tribute bands were all feckin awesome, and Neville Staples from The Specials randomly turned up so we gave him a one-hour slot.

This festival's only 3 years old but it's growing all the time, we reckon about 6,000 turned up this year. Watch out for this one in the future.

2nd year I've been and enjoyed it loads. You just have to get into it and forget the fact that it's 'budget' and you can have a great time.

Someone gave me a flyer for a similar event in Yorkshire in August called TribFest if anyone'e interested.

PS - if anyone was there and saw Fake That - that was one of the funniest things I've ever seen, fair play to them for doing that, very entertaining.

You're now officially middle aged Kokpops

Ah, this explains my eligibility for the over-21 side in the upcoming no-holds-barred grudge match a week on Saturday.

it was awesome!

as its already been said, oasish, US4//U2 and queen were by far the best acts there, all stayed in character so well and sounded so much like the real thing it was uncanny! for example noel gallagher putting his two fingers up at the camera, made me laugh!!

It really is quality. And for everybody who is thinking " hmmm, budjet ", its all the same music, near enough the same thing, the only difference being the famous people such as BONO,Noel and Liam who produced it.

It was a great weekend and it even had the weather!! haha

Oh and did anybody have any of those waffle chocolate things? heavenly!!!

Anyone going this year?

To Glastonbudget though?

I might give it a spin this year.

Think I remember my friend saying his band are playing there. If that's true, then yeah, I'll go!

Just looked at the lineup - Four Fighters, Razorlike, Antarctic Monkeys, Kins of Leon. Will probably be a giggle.

I have to come with.

But, but, but that involves leaving the house and seeing people?

Don't do it Lib.

Why do I have this strange reputation just because I don't like to meet geeks off the internet?

Tempted. Money being a massive issue though.

Antartic Monkeys are class.

Would only be going to support a mates band.

Not entirely convinced I wanna spend money on it for 1 band though.
