Kilworthfox Posted 3 June 2007 Posted 3 June 2007 Pathetic. almost as ridicules as the park benches that have to be replaced as they are 3 inches too low!
Head Honcho Posted 3 June 2007 Posted 3 June 2007 I don't get it Why is it pathetic? Why should children be used as walking adverts for alcohol companies?
Kilworthfox Posted 3 June 2007 Posted 3 June 2007 I don't get it Why is it pathetic? Why should children be used as walking adverts for alcohol companies? On the other hand why can kids not wear what Gerrard or Johnson wear? Is the child more likely to make people want to drink alcohol due to him wearing a replica shirt with the sponsors name on it? Is it the advertisers aim to make children walking adverts for their brand? Do advertisers want children to start using their products? we can all ask questions which are topic related, but really if people are encouraged to drink because they see a child wearing a Liverpool shirt then they sound illogical to me. Is the issue to protect children? well I don't believe that kids start to drink because Rangers are sponsored by carling! In my mind that is why this is pathetic and Andy is correct
Nationwider Posted 3 June 2007 Posted 3 June 2007 I don't like advertising on any football shirts, so I can't say that it troubles me that much. I don't see why it's so important? Surely you buy a replica shirt because you want to represent your team in public, not because of the advertiser's logo? I'd love an 07/08 City shirt without A&L on the front.
filbertway Posted 3 June 2007 Posted 3 June 2007 STOOPIDNext we wont be able to talk in public WHat Bit of a contrast to taking the sponsorship off a shirt.

Nationwider Posted 3 June 2007 Posted 3 June 2007 Good because it won't be Friggin' Nora! Who is it then? I've been away for a bit... and can't be arsed to read the LCFC forum much at the moment.
JoeyB Posted 3 June 2007 Posted 3 June 2007 Friggin' Nora!Who is it then? I've been away for a bit... and can't be arsed to read the LCFC forum much at the moment. Topps Tiles <<<<<<<<< new shirt

lookwhaticando Posted 3 June 2007 Posted 3 June 2007 Excellent news for the football clubs. They'll no doubt arrange separate sponsorship deals with more 'appropriate' companies for children's kits. The contracts won't be very big at all, but it's still a trickle of extra revenue.
Alexikokopops Posted 3 June 2007 Posted 3 June 2007 STOOPIDNext we wont be able to talk in public Yes, that is the next logical step to take.
davieG Posted 4 June 2007 Posted 4 June 2007 FIFA should ban all shirt sponsorship. If they can cope with it in the land of the free and cut throat business for the NFL why should we have to be bombarded with these messages.
Daggers Posted 4 June 2007 Posted 4 June 2007 What kind of fuknut PAYS for the extra sponsorhip to be added to a team shirt? Pays for the Coke things to go on the arm? Pure fuknuttery.
Floating Fox Posted 4 June 2007 Author Posted 4 June 2007 Wait I think I just found out how to combat underage drinking people! We'll ban T-shirts! That's why its pathetic. Its not the point of having "Chang Beer" on your shirt, I couldn't give a flying fock wether my shirt had a beer or a tile company on it really, its the fact that they believe that taking the Logo off Child shirts will combat something..well what the hell does it do? Say - The kids go home and see mummy and daddy sitting in the same shirt with the logo on, what are they supposed to do, blindfold them?
Floating Fox Posted 4 June 2007 Author Posted 4 June 2007 Who cares? Its not the end of the world. Its one step closer to the end.
Leicester Lass Posted 4 June 2007 Posted 4 June 2007 Iw onder if tiles companies will be banned soon? No, that's just groutrageous
