Don't you just hate it...

We were going out last night and one girl said she was going to join the rest of us after dinner with her family.

The day before the event, she texted me saying "will have phone on me, so will text after dinner x"

Last night, as she had not texted by 11pm, I texted her asking if she was still intending to join us.

She texted back saying "no thanks. Already got home"

Why on earth did she not text as she had promised to do?

This is the kind of thing that I really cannot condone :(

I must admit, that would wind me up in a BIG way... inexcusable, especially as she gave no reasonable explanation. :banghead:

Indeed.

I would also accept that she could have changed her mind about going. No problem.

But at least text me (as promised) to let me know.

This is the second time she's done something similar

The previous time, we were supposed to be going out for a drink on a Saturday and

on the Thursday we'd already agreed on day and time, just not place.

[which, in my books, makes that slot unavailable for other activities].

When I texted her the location details on Friday,

she said "sorry cannot make it. Going to a party"

1) Not really nice to change her mind in this case

2) Was she ever going to tell me?

I think I need to have a word with her...

What a f**king pointless thread.

She was coming, some texts got sent, she didn't come.

Don't blame her.

No offence.

well its not like she was sat all alone , there was a group ; i never feel so committed if its like an informal get together,

it would have been different if it was a specific meeting of two people :dunno:

I find it amusing this thread has somehow managed to find it's way to a LCFC forum.

It's like going on a Tampon website and finding your starting XI for the Norwich away match.

Hmm that probabley wasn't subtle enough either, oh well.

In all my time on tampon forums, I've NEVER seen that.

Period.

Poor effort JTB. You should have snuck it in as a subtle dig, ideally too subtle for a simple beast such as woman to understand.

I like it.

Thing is I'm feeling quite aggressive today, a bit snappy, moody and uptight.

Maybe it's that time of the month.

In a hospital serving victims of land mines, a little girl wakes up from surgery.

Little Girl: Doctor, something is wrong... I can't feel my legs!

Doctor: Yes, we've had to amputate both your arms.

That's a sad story.

But tell me, did she have to pay for her own hospital meal?

Was it nice?

They're have bean reports that she did in fact pay four her meal, which Fube says is good and fare.

She did say it was worth it though, although her mum was bitching to the press about how bad it was and how they promised that she wouldn't have to pay for it.

How did she eat the meal, if she doesn't have any arms? Was it spoonfed to her? And could you perhaps call this poor-quality meal "bullshit"?

I put it to you that she was served this meal by the bloke that updates www.football-rumours.co.uk

I had no idea that post was going to end up going there.

I'm at work! Can you believe it?! Astonishing.

I was about to say, are you trying to get the sack or something.

I hope they log everything you type, especially the tampon joke.
