Manwell Pablo Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 At least 2 of the midfielders are,Reo coker is 23 and plays for the u21. Thats just plain silly!
The People's Hero Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 I swear he's a defender. So's Franck Rolling but I don't see anyone (else) clamouring for us to sign him.
Ric Flair Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 I swear he's a defender. DO NOT SPOIL THE FUN MANWELL!
Lord Nibblington Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 So's Franck Rolling but I don't see anyone (else) clamouring for us to sign him. I thought I made my support of the Big Franck bandwagon quite clear. Of course, it is an open bandwagon, and any Big Franck's can climb aboard.

I caught Frank Sinclair trying to climb aboard earlier, but as I pointed out to him (in the strongest terms I dared - he's a man mountain fer gawd's sake!) he doesn't have a 'c' in his Fran'c'k. Sorry Frank. No pale imitations. Same to you Lampard, I see you there, plotting your moneygrabbing way on to my rickety French-but-effective bandwagon.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 Hes surinamese I say again, he was born in suriname, however he lived there for six months, he has dutch citizenship, speaks dutch, has a dutch passport. He's ****ing Dutch! My mate was born in Germany but he aint German!
London_Fox Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 I know that some of you might find this hard to believe BUT Gary Lineker had a word with Johan Cruyff about the whole not signing for us debacle and convinced him to give us a season. If Mancini could do it aged 35 or whatever then Cruyff reckons he can do it aged 60 and so will be our midfield playmaker (the being aged 22 thing was a typo on behalf of the Mercury...that bit you can believe).

majestic fox Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 Does it really matter?? he was born in Surinam therefore he's Surinamise !
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 You're mate Steffen 'The German' Allemagne? He's as German as they come mate! No not him. I admit he may have slight German Tendancies.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 I swear he's a defender. That's what it says on Wikipedia. But you can't rely on Wikipedia.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 he was born in Surinam therefore he's Surinamise ! Thats bollocks of the highest order. Where was Owen Hargreaves born?? Where was Greg Rusedski born?? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/4141437.stm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_de_vries http://www.dutchplayers.nl/player.php?id=191 EVEN THE DUTCH SAY HE'S DUTCH FFS
Lester LXXIV Posted 15 June 2007 Author Posted 15 June 2007 he was born in Surinam therefore he's Surinamise ! Bothered??
Ric Flair Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 Haris Medunjanin I've suggested him, but can't see it being him as he's away with the Holland Under 21 squad and the mystery player is here having talks at present.
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 I've suggested him, but can't see it being him as he's away with the Holland Under 21 squad and the mystery player is here having talks at present. Yeah, told you, Dutch U21, stupid idea.

I think Frank Sinclair has since been on to the town hall to get his name changed by deed poll, to include the C. I'm tempted to let him on the wagon after that kind of committment.

I really do pity this player by the way. He'll turn up, see the stadium.... sign a contract, listen to the 'big club' bollocks - see the pics of Shilton, Banks, Lineker, Heskey etc and think... Wow. He'll sign. Then pre-season begins. It's raining. Elvis Hammond turns up.

In that case, Mr Rolling would have the final word. But as a fellow defender without much ability... well, how would he react? 2 possibilities: 1) Kindred spirits. Get him on. 2) Competing for the same limelight. Fu ck him off.

So it would seem Thracian's been off putting together his bid for Elvis.
The People's Hero Posted 15 June 2007 Posted 15 June 2007 We should ship Elvis off to whoever was stupid enough to take MdV.

Well that rules out Fez's plans to be pals with him, the lad will be sniffing round Elv-Dog all the while.
