I do worry though that some of the kids here are applying for admin roles thinking they get to spend their whole day on Foxestalk. I worked for a time at the Frans Otten stadium in Amsterdam and my Dutch hosts thanked me by funding my place on their club tour of France, Luxembourg and Monaco. Amsterdam was a super place and I always found the Dutch amusing, interesting and enthusiastic company. In fact they and the Swiss were as good as it got among the Europeans - both certainly knew how to party and have fun.

I'm quite sure they are nice people I didn't mean to generalise, however the one I used to know, and nearly lived with for that matter was a absloute Baron Von Plank Der Vaart. He thought Holland was absloutley fantastic, and used to claim that he liked England as it reminded him of Holland in the 80's . He would than bang on about how far Holland are in front of England in just about every way. Half the time he wasn't even right he used to moan about the fact we don't show Dutch football over here when we do. He was just an arrogant toss pot. However I did meet one and he was alright. Pott head, but alright.
