Doesn't matter.

They just wont win the prize will they ?

I'm going for a bit of optimism and picking Fryatt. I think he's got genuine quality, at least at this level, and if the team plays some decent football that lends to his abilities then he'll score goals.

Now watch us sell him...

I think you're right mate.

But utilising the same logic, I think Stearman will have a very good season.

To be honest I havent the capability in checking votes to names and its too much work to ask a Md to do it so if people vote and cant be bothered to write their names down and their choice then I simply wont register it as a selection.

Yamas Foxile lol

I see no-one has chosen "other" and Hayes yet :D:clap:

Mattock - Did really well in the 2 vital away games at the back end of last season and also looked very good for the England u/18s in their championship's.

Wouldn't surprise me if he was thrown in at the deep end and start the season in the team.

Stearman

Surely after last seasons performance it can get no worst for the lad and now with the addition of Allen's guidance who knows? Maybe this is his season.

i made a hard decision between mattock & wesolowski but i think wesolowski's more ready to cement his first team position saying that there isn't a name on that list that doesn't slightly excite me :D

Weso for sure but i reckon if fryatt gets back to form he could get us a few goals. Our season will be shaped by having a good pre season and Martin Allen making them gel well and also ensuring he makes the right starting 11 selection.

It's a good record. He's quick, has good close control and is very positive around the penalty area as his record shows. He didn't have a great play-off final against Sunderland and I'm not sure he's as difficult to mark out of a game as Billy McKay.

The two of em make a formidable partnership, both being ready to pounce on any half-chance. But as to which is the best it really is a toss up. McKay with 18 in 22, including one in the final, just about matched Odhiambo. I'll be more than interested to see how they manage in the Reserves.

OK Time for an update....

Deadline - Friday 10th of August Prize - £50 in Vouchers Entry Fee - Free

To Do - Simply name who our best under 21 year old player will be this season to win the prize. You must vote and then put a comment of your selection so I can work out who voted for who. You cant change your mind regardless of whether we sign someone new or sell your selection.

Right, it seems 95 votes are in but only a small percentage of those people have put a comment down so I cant work out who they voted for! If you dont put down a line on who you have opted to go for before the deadline then your vote is void, regardless of you telling me down the line that you hit the vote button on a particular player.

Below is the list of players and the names of the people who have voted for them AND left a comment.
