Joe Mattock. I think the kid has class written all over him, first full season, good youngsters often have a good first season.

I think there's a few under 21 that will have a good season next year, the other obvious ones being Wesolowski, Stearman and Fryatt. Is Fryatt allowed given he's 21 and not under 21?

apexgeo - did you have a deadline for entries in mind? If you have a deadline, we can close the topic when the times comes to stop pesky late entries, if you wish.

Also, we could move it to Competitions where it'll be easier to find (once it's been closed, it'll get most exposure here in LC). ;)

I voted Stearman, by the way, he needs a good season and perhaps under Allen's guidance he'll have one.

Lets set the deadline for Friday 10th of August mate. Also. I forgot about the competition part of the site so yes it does make sense for this thread to be moved there.

Over to you fella!

BTW I did say that people can vote "other" so if someone thinks we are going to sign some wonderkid and wait for that then its upto them. What I plan on doing is every few days put names of the people who voted for each player so you all know who the competition is lol:thumbup:

Mattock he was pretty awesome at the end of last season and i think he will be our best player this year overall.

has a lot more quality than any of our new signings or whole squad i believe.

Bit strong for just 3 or 4 games seen of him....

Porter will be amazing next year with some decent service. balls played to his feet will benefit him a lot and his crosses will set up goals, i would not be surprised if he gets into the first team regular next year.

I'll leave it here for now, that way it'll get maximum exposure.

I feel that someone that hasn't already had a chance in the first team has the biggest potential to do well as they have not been tested at this level. IMO i don't feel that any first teamer other than Mattock/Odahiambo can do much better that last season.

So going for someone from the youth team will be the best bet. As the right wing is currently the weak point in the first team and we have no real cover in that area, I think Gradel will get his chance and take it well, especially going on last season's form in the youth team

GRADEL for me!

Regardless of what Thracian says I’m going to say Gradel.

What have I said? :D I rate the guy. I just know some will bemoan his poor tracking back.

Looks like we might be going for a fairly youthful midfield this year apart from Kishishev.

I think Stearman, Fryatt, Weso and Mattock will all play a big part this year because I believe Stearman and Fryatt in particular will want to make amends for poor seasons last year.

I believe Allen will be able to get the best out of these young players but I believe Fryatt will have the biggest impact. Yes he was injured for quite a large proportion of last season but he didnt have a very strong midfield behind him.

If we can sign a creative midfielder and 2 decent wingers I think Matty will have a very good season providing he isn't sold of course.

Sappleton will become a cult hero coming off the bench scoring blinding goals!!!!

Well you have got to dream!!!!!

Kinda like a Leicester City version of Kalou

Well basically you said yesterday that he wasn’t the finished article and probably not ready to make the step up, and you also said he can’t defend so the fans will turn against him.

He's starting to get to the age where Thracian will turn on him...

For me many of those players won't get much game time, even the likes of Mattock and Weso. A controversial choice, but i'll say Fryatt, hopefully he'll bag half a dozen, which isn't great, but will look good compared to the other poll options. It's a gamble.

What if a player gets sold? Do we get another choice?
