the sign of a decent society is the way it treats the worst people in that society, why would it make society any better than the murderers if society went on to murder them?

anyhoo, i now know that if i plan to murder someone myself; all i have to do is lock them in a shed, stave and tourture them and i'll be running through the tulips free as you like, in 5 years (if i make parole, which, of course, i would)

That's good because in 5 years time or whenever I really don't fancy those scumbags mixing with society, they have removed someones right to live through the cruelist of ways and yet in a decade or so they will be able to go about daily business.

Great society

You know you want to worship the Celts.

So are you a sheepshagger (in the Scottish sense) or what? You don't seem to fit in anywhere.

He's a Scot, ain't he? That's a bit more celtic than being Australian, ain't it?

And the Scots aren't the sheepshaggers, we are. And there's a funny story behind that, actually. Getcha national stereotypes at least!

Dan is cleary a troubled individual who is struggling to find an identity. He is about as significant as that discarded crisp packet that blows down Gallowtree Gate.

Harsh on crisp packets and Gallowtree Gate, in my opinion! :dunno::whistle:

What would the powers have done in Oz? Institutionalise them or bang' em up? Just wondering..

I never seem to hear of people being declared insane in the States - they just die. Or get shot. Or something.

Can't help with the East Anglia meet but if you know of any jobs in Oz for a pi**ed of retail manager, I'll come and meet you

Take them to a nice river up North in Oz, Take them by boat a couple of miles up stream and pitch them over the side. Let them swim home. If the Salties get them they were clearly guilty, if they make it back they were innocent!!!! Easy

It seems he's getting a lot of sympathy towards him, more than a 'normal' person would just because he's epileptic. Wouldn't you have fought he'd have tried to fight his way out or something? Or maybe have just been a better driver lol

You Fvcking moron!

I just cant work out what causes people like this to carry out such sadistic acts like they have done with this poor bloke. The world is getting more and more full of these sickos and unless the punishment starts fitting the crime, I dont think these buggers will be scared to carry out further acts.

I`d chop the buggers up and feed them to the pigs myself.

lol What's wrong? :dunno:

I put your first comment down to immaturity but compounding it with an inability to understand why people are offended coupled with a lol smilie suggests you really are a **** of the highest order where not even age can be used as an excuse.

Thanks for the tips, jaffa.

I think the problems lie with the old judges here. They have NO concept of what people think is fair justice. 10 years is a joke of a sentence.

And I hope to God they get their come uppance inside.

Badly.

It wasn't the judges fault!

I believe he gave them the maximum sentence allowed for false imprisonment.

The prosecutors were to blame for not trying them for murder.

Great divide you really have no f'cking idea do you? Both are cancers on Scottish society and every decent person north of the border will dance a merry dance the day both Clubs and the vile element of their support wither and die.

The only morons that follow the fortunes of either Club are imbiciles who haven't got the thought process to muster their own opinions and identities. There is no divide in Scotland, there are Scots and that is it. Anyone who is wanabe English or Irish are held in the same regard you are on here, lower than a snakes belly.

And the prosecutors would have been condemned if the accused got off on a technicality. As I heard it there was doubt a murder charge would stick because it wasn't sure to what extent the victim's epilepsy may well have played a part in his death...a point referred to in the link.
