Flynny Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I do sometimes wonder if they should flash up the words the national anthems when there being sung... part of me would at least like the option of joining in. With a little Mickey Mouse head bouncing over the words as they're sung!?
Brainy Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Alan Smith [whey] Michael Owen [whey] and the referee.. [boo] well thats what I think I heard.
Mort Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 With a little Mickey Mouse head bouncing over the words as they're sung!? Damn Straight!!! ..fun for all the family! .
Simi Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Wahey all back aboard the Lampard bandwagon! Motson "Thats where he's so different in the final third" Erm? That's where he has been poor for England lately.
Mort Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Motson "Thats where he's so different in the final third" Erm? That's where he has been poor for England lately. Looks like he's selectively forgotten all those... er... "deadly" shots from the final third during the world cup. But good to see him back in the goals again, the abuse he gets (considering how many goals he manages to knock in for Chelski and for England until not that long ago) is absurd. <_< Meanwhile Richards is a fu*king live wire tonight... covering the entire right side of the pitch and setting up Lampard very smartly.
Flynny Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Motson "Thats where he's so different in the final third" Erm? That's where he has been poor for England lately. He was always going to come good in the end, even if he has been poor for about the last year. He's had a few decent strikes in that time, too. Hopefully he's back in the goals for good now. Heard about his toe? By refusing surgary on it to play he's basically condemning himself to never having any movement in it again. Beckham injured? I thought Richards was just playing high on the overlap.
Lillehamring Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I'm overcome with excitement about tonight's games, what to watch........Patched-up England Vs. Germany Reserves or Northern Ireland Vs. The Mighty Liechtenstein. i had to settle for Norway recording a cracking 2-1 result over a decent argentinian side... Carew was awesome. can't get the england game tho?
Lillehamring Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 this is what you have to cope with when you don't have decent cable.... 2028: Corner to Germany. "Germany have got absolutely nothing going forward. It's going to be a long night for them." Chris Waddle, BBC Radio 5live pundit "If Micah Richards continues to play like this Beckham might get another five years with England." Mark Lawrenson, BBC Sport TV pundit 2025: South Africa are dominating the action against Scotland in Aberdeen despite losing their main source of goals Sibusiso Zuma. The puma was stretchered off.
Mort Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 David James... c'mon down! ...and i'm still worried when ever there's a back pass to Robinson :pinch:
Flynny Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 No clue why James isn't playing, even if that is exactly the kind of thing he does in an England shirt.
act smiley Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 He's an absolute joke - if he didn't play for a London club, he'd be nowhere near the England side. Absolute cack.
Flynny Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 He's an absolute joke - if he didn't play for a London club, he'd be nowhere near the England side. Absolute cack. He's a horribly average keeper picked to be a Steady Eddie. Since he isn't even doing that anymore he needs the boot.
Brainy Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 If Joe Cole gets booked for that, why wasn't the guy who took out Shorey booked also? "S'only a friendly"
lildave3 Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Tell you what, let's all throw a 37 year old keeper in when he's probably not going to be around for much longer at all. Not only is he 37, he's a keeper that everyone slagged off when he was playing for England before, and wanted Robbo in.
Head Honcho Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Christian Pander (born 28 August 1983 in Münster) is a German footballer. He plays for FC Schalke 04. His position is left-back and he is known for his powerful left-foot, thunderous free-kicks and willingness to burst up the left wing. Footie advice from wikipedia

I've always maintained he's our best keeper. But you're right. A much better idea is to blood a young, inexperienced keeper. If we don't qualify there's always 2012. James'll play this Premiership season and next (at least) or I'll eat my hat.
