Flynny Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 No-one else not too displeased? Apart from sitting back for about 5 minutes the footballs been better than usual, and we're making far better use of space. We could have had 5 by now, we usually get two chances every match. I would have liked to have seen Lamps partnered with Hargreaves, shame that couldn't happen.
MPH Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 If Mclaren is keen on 'looking to the future' then forget Gary Neville and stick with Micah- looks absolute quality. decent CB too although of course i'd prefer to see him at RB..
Brainy Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 No-one else not too displeased? Im not. But there's always one thing to be complaining about, win or lose.
Daggers Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Sorry - I have to add a  in response to Owen, Robinson and Dyer
lildave3 Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Beckham's game is all about free kicks and crossing. He's been shit at both since i've been watching.
Tommeh Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Finally England's best player so far this season in domestic football (not inc. Richards) is on, Mclaren you rule
Simi Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I'd love to see Ian Wrights reaction to SWP playing wide left !
Flynny Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Hahaha, whose arse was that Lehmann grabbed at the end of the replay?
Brainy Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I suppose when both teams six of their substitutes, they'll be.. six minutes added on?
lildave3 Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Nicky Shorey needs new boots, i've never seen anyone slip as much as him.
Tommeh Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 SWP changing the game well played mate. One of few in this current England squad I have respect for.
Flynny Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Pretty athletic just then for a has-been 37 year-old with one foot in retirement.
Brainy Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Wheres the passion? 1-2 down with four minutes of injury time and they barely attempted to get the equaliser.
Thracian Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Enough simple chances to have hit four. And will someone tell me what Alan Smith and Keiron Dyer are for?
Joe. Posted 22 August 2007 Author Posted 22 August 2007 To be honest I don't care about the result. We created enough chances to win 5 games and should have beat these easily. We are all over them Owen missed a sitter and so did Dyer. 9/0 times those sort of chances would be a goal. Impressed with Richards. Carrick was Woeful and I rest my case about Robinson.
Master Fox Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Enough simple chances to have hit four. And will someone tell me what Alan Smith and Keiron Dyer are for? It's not even worth the thought
purpleronnie Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 I can't believe people actually still watch england matches. I stopped years ago.
Lord Nibblington Posted 22 August 2007 Posted 22 August 2007 Good old Stevie Mac. Top managering once again.
