Tommeh Posted 29 August 2007 Author Posted 29 August 2007 i was there on that stretch of bars and chippys when it all kicked off to begin with. all i could hear was "same old Leicester, always cheating" and a few "pa**ie bastard cheats" and obviously YOOOOOU REDS etc. then from nowhere about 20 Leicester were around screaming COME ON LEICESTER and as i walked on up the road towards the bridge lots of F*r*st ran towards us to get to the trouble. some lads as young as 14 probably trying to look hard. i didnt get caught up in it though and i hope the scumbags get locked up. That pretty sums up what we saw we were on the forest side of the road as it all kicked off and instantly tried to cross, then as there were 3 of us 1 got split up it was just pretty chaos but it did cool down a bit. We then had to walk past them on the opposite side of the road, plenty of abuse coming still, police at times were struggling but once the horses came in it did cool down. No rivalry from them hey
Staf Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I was actually pretty scared which isnt that bad considering im only 14 and there was a man shouting at me and my dad and my mate
Flynny Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I was being a bit silly last night telling my mates to shut up and stuff. Kept expecting to walk into trouble. I disagree quite strongly with the view that if you're not looking for trouble you won't get it. If you're wearing a city shirt and walk into a bunch of twats, next to anything could happen.

Again simple answer, don't wear a City shirt or cover it up.
The People's Hero Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Again simple answer, don't wear a City shirt or cover it up. Get yourself some tweed mate. It's ALL about the tweed.
Flynny Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Get yourself some tweed mate. It's ALL about the tweed. That or some Burberry and stone island gear. That'll keep me clear of trouble.
Wils Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Again simple answer, don't wear a City shirt or cover it up. I never do. Always going to attract trouble at away games if you do. Not much point atal.
The People's Hero Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 That or some Burberry and river island gear. That'll keep me clear of trouble. Assume you mean Stone Island mate! Aquascrot.... errr... Aquascutum is one to avoid too.
lildave3 Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Again simple answer, don't wear a City shirt or cover it up. What's your opinions on wearing a city shirt under a jacket which is no longer in my possession on exiting?
Tommeh Posted 29 August 2007 Author Posted 29 August 2007 I never do. Always going to attract trouble at away games if you do. Not much point atal. same, well I had it on under a jacket and it couldn't be seen, but we had to walk to notts countys ground across the trent and by a few pubs. Really glad none of us had our shirts showing.
AoWW Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 What's your opinions on wearing a city shirt under a jacket which is no longer in my possession on exiting? Just don't wear a city shirt to away games or certainly not ones such as this where trouble is hardly unexpected. It sucks, I agree - you should be able to wear what you like and show support for your team - but personally I'd rather walk away in one piece. I wouldn't rely on having a jacket to cover your shirt up with either... you're then in the sh*t if your jacket gets lost, ripped, etc.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 What's your opinions on wearing a city shirt under a jacket which is no longer in my possession on exiting? Look after your possessions??

Abdullah Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Do me a favour. Why don't you all get all get off your moral high horses? I don't wish any ill feeling to Clive and wish him all the best but I cannot help but think that if you lot been winning then you would have made it out for the second half. As for the hooligans it was clear from early on in the day in Nottingham that several Leicester fans were arriving who had disorder in mind. Don't play the victims.

Yeah, the fact that we offered you the win changes nothing. At all. I'd agree, though, that some cunts from our end were probably just as bad. I saw a bunch of them heading for the train station in the afternoon. Already pissed, it seemed. Your end were just as eager to have it called off as ours, thats a fact. If we let you score from the kickoff in the replay, though, I'd be quite pleased.
Abdullah Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 His heart stopped twice you twat! Houllier at Liverpool and Kinnear at Sheff Weds both had heart attacks and yet the games continued. Players should be professional. I don't want to argue but if Forest lose the replay it will be a travesty.
BartonFox Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 There was always going to be plenty of aggro at this tie, I am not so sure why people are suprised. By the time that Forest lad that got straightened wakes up his clothes will be considered retro by the youth of tomorrow. I hate Coventry more, but my dislike for Forest was upped to hate last night, they really are a bunch of odious tossers. I had the misfortune to be corporate last night and it was all some kind of joke to many, the levels of concern were minimal to say the least.

Look after your possessions?? Interesting point. Even more interesting, don't leave your possessions with your mate.

Clive Clarke technically died in front of both sets of players last night, put yourself in their shoes.
