I'm really p issed off about the racist chanting by the florest 'fans'. I am going to make an official complaint to florest, Leicester and the F.A.

Anyone know who I should report this to at each of these?

Cheers.

Our fans are just as racist I'm afraid. Week after week, two or three groups of 15-20 chavs plus go past our pub and time and again I'll see them kicking taxis driven by Asian blokes and chanting anything that makes them look racist.

Was it in the ground? If it was after the game, there's probably nothing that can be done from a football point of view.

Either way, they're just sh*tbags that will never learn. End of.

At least we know they've been to Leicester :D

Just a joke btw before anyone gets upset

It was pretty disgusting behaviour in general by both sets of fans from the moment teh game was called off with forest fans booing and a few leicester fans cheering dispite the reason the game was called off now this. I dont think the fans did there clubs justice tonight.

b tw, can i ask a question? im asian, supported city since i was about 12, my first game was when we signed iwan roberts, played west brom, sat on the east stand, opposite the (back then) new carling stand.

I kept going to the games and me and another asian pal used to go to as many games as we could, and we always sat in the kop. i have to say i was there during the sheff united incident when the chairs and stuff were being ripped off, i was only 14. to get to the point, i sat in the kop again during the leeds game when they shouted and sang 'Town full of P****' and they were pointing at me and my mate.

with all due respect, nearly everyone around us helped us, but there were a few city supporters who told us to get out. since then i only sat in the carling. my point is, and im not questioning anybody's integrity, do the city supporters care about what they are saying or do they feel a bit maybe ashamed that there alot of asians living in this amazing city? i really would like to know, i really would love to go back and sit and sing in the kop with my mates. hope i aint caused anyone any offence. Shame on the forest suppoters, and i wish clive all the best.

At Leicester, you can report any racism to Peter Jones, who is the Supporters Relations Manager. His e-mail address is [email protected]. He is extremely helpful and a really nice guy - if you tell him about the racist chanting you heard, I am sure he will look into it. Those racists are simply mindless idiots - I experienced it when we played Derby away. I agree some of our fans can be as bad but they are in much smaller numbers and the club have been active in dealing with the problem, unlike seemingly the aforementioned sides.

It was defo in the main stand during the game. I'm not saying our fans are saints by any stretch of the imagination, but 'Town full of P*kkis' is totally uncalled for.

I honestly doubt you'd get any trouble in the Kop now.

I heard an announcement from the Forest PA saying they take instances of racist and anti-social behaviour very seriously.

So let's take them at their word.

Write to their website (link here) detailing the events and chanting you witnessed. Encourage your friends to do likewise.

It may be useful to suggest that that particular area of the ground, which has been notorious for similar behaviour at past matches, should be kept closed if and when the game is replayed.

No visiting team should have to put up with this kind of cancer in our game.

Sadly wherever a large group of people are gathered together there will always be one or more idiots who will think it's big and clever to start these things off and perhaps more sadly there will be plenty of sheep (not of the Derby type) who will follow, That's why we end up with large numbers sing racist and disrespectful songs - I sometimes wonder if they have any idea what garbage is spewing out of their mouths.

There are quite a few Asians (The Singh doesn't like that label) in the Kop so I don't think you need worry about it. In fact we had 5/6 sat behind us at the Forest game and the only thing I'd take issue with them was that Kisnorbo was crap when anyone could see he was carrying Kenton

I think that most people from the city are proud to live in one of the most culturally diverse areas in Europe, one that represents everything that is good about modern-day Britain.

However, ultimately, there will always be imbeciles whose opinions are based purely on race. These people are wankers and oxygen theives, and all deserve to be lined up and shot. :)

Probably true, but a lot of City fans do not live in Leicester, and maybe don't have much day-to-day contact with non-white people in the areas where they live and work.

Consequently they are just as likely as anyone else to fall for the racist crap that is fed to them by certain groups and parts of the media.

The situation at City home games may be better than at other grounds, but as this thread and others have shown, it remains a long way from the ideal.
