We can always rely on a stupid post from A-fox, he must be six years old? Although i doubt a six year old would make comments like that.

That site just proves that racism is deemed acceptable at football mathces - just look at the poll results. Jovial humour my arse. Disgusting, especially in a multicultural city like Nottingham where people think that it's ok to say such tosh.

It doesn't prove that at all Anish.

It just proves that some idiots thinks it's acceptable.

They have no more idiots than we have.

The Forest site suggests otherwise. A lot of lies have been posted on there.

But remember, we're NOT their rivals...

I dont think thats a fair comment. I've heard no Racial abuse in my time following city, from our fans.

If your going to class "gay comments" as being racial then its different......

To be fair the word "Paki" has been blown out of proportion, it's short for pakistani.

Okay, I can easily see why Indians and other non Pakistani Asian would find it rasict, but thats like finding the word "Brit" offensive?!

I understnad that 99% of the time, when some twat does call someone a "Paki" they are meaning it as a racial slur, but that wasn't the point I was trying to make....

They also were singing "Small town in Asia", not sure if you could class that as racist...

But still bang out of order.

Not sure what you're getting at here so I'll cover all options.

1) Reading the NFFC forum, it's quite apparent that some of the comments were clearly racist.

2) Reading the NFFC Forum and Foxestalk, it's quite apparent that there are idiots posting on each one.

3) I can't remember the last time I heard racist chanting from City supporters but then I have never said that we have chanted such obscenities.

4) However, on the concourses and approaches I have certainly heard conversations that I would deem to be racist.

So basically I seem to be the only one who doesn't find those chants offensive or racist? The way I see it is some folks are having a go at our multi cultural city and if anything we should be proud of it. So if Stoke fans sing "You just a small town in France" to Plymouth fans (yes they do sing that) is that racist too?

Is it wrong? Maybe. Is it racist? No.

i would be tempted to send a copy of your complaint to the County FA (address below), add a covering letter explaining that you would like this to be sent to the appropriate dept. at Soho Square.

It may also be of interest to the Football League as this may be seen as a Competition issue rather than a National FA matter

I often go to Lords to watch England play Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka etc. invariably the visiting support is incredible. So where have these supporters come from? Sure a few who have come from that land, some will be those who came to this country as immigrants and the rest, I assume are British born.

No doubt the first generation children will follow their family ties and I respect that but after two generations where's the loyalty to the place of their birth? I'm all for a integrated multicultural society but it's perplexing to see my English team being jeered at by a crowd made up mainly of Asian Englishmen.

I guess my point is the sooner people feel that England is their home and mother country, the sooner xenophobia will be a thing of the past.

No you're wrong.

They're all travelling support - like the Barmy Army.

Have you seen how many they've taken to South Africa for the Twenty 20?

There must be some money spent on following your national team don't you think?

That is not the correct term...the current PC term for that is "Geographically Challenged"

A small minority of our fans (chavs in burberry caps) were just as bad at Charlton - pre match in the antigallicon (pub) chanting "we hate polish" and "where's your work permit" etc towards the barmen standing outside, these so called fans also started trouble with the stewards in the dying stages of game lets get them identified and kicked out of the club for good!.... anyone else agree?

I doubt that mate! I have quite a few Indian mates who I have been to watch football with whether Leicester or England but mention cricket and they are straight in the away end!

As someone born in England through Greek Cypriot parents, I must admit to turning up in the away end of clubs whose players I knew nothing about like Panathanikos when they take on an English club in some European competition and trust me, most of the away support are lads who are born over here.

On the national level I`d say that like many of my foreign mates are like me and spend hundreds if not more following the national sides in sports but probably have a bigger sense of pride if out of the blue, a Greek or Cypriot sportsman all of a sudden is running against an Englishman, probably because they dont usually do that well in sports like athletics. We do have more people to cheer on at the olympics but the heart still pumps for Brit athletes as they line-up for an event and I want them to win just as much. I even cheered on England to beat Greece that day that when Becks scored the free kick to take us to a major finals and even cheered Liverpool on when Gerrard scored to progress in the Champs League against my fav Greek club, Olympaicos so I have allegiances for both nations.

One thing that has always made me laugh though is how some English lads (BTW we have had these sometimes heated similar discussions many times down the pub over the years) see it as acceptable for white kids who were born over here through Scottish, Irish or Welsh parents to naturally still support the nations that their parents were born in and almost continue the hatred and hate everything English despite being born here and sounded English! If someone who looks a bit different skin tone wise decides to follow the side of their parents birth its deemed strange by some?! Weird!

I went to the edgbaston One dayer (India V England) and did indeed support India.

Some of my cousins supported England,(and we gave him hell when England won!)

In fact id say the majority of the crowd was made up of such Asian Englsihmen who were supporting India.

However there was enough respect for England that whenever they did something worthwhile they got applause too.

Dont thing its anything anti -English.Its just a way for us 2nd/3rd generation to hold onto our roots on behalf of our parents who were born in India.

We have dual identity you see! ;)

I personally always want England to do well in what ever they play.....just NOT against India! :D

It's not how people take the chant, it's what the intention was of the people who were chanting it. And only a fool would think that F*rest cnuts would be praising Leicester's multicultural status.

If anyone thinks the Forest fans were singing 'in respect' of Leicesters multi culturalism, they really are stupid!
