Im realy interested to know how people would have been taking the news on MM's axing of MA had we lost to Watford on sat or had we even lost to Forest the other night wich we were very much on course to do!

We don't know whats happened at all!

Think you have to trust Milan in the end look where pompey are now.

How many more times, Teblin? Portsmouth are where they are now because he got lucky in appointing Harry Redknapp. He even fell out with him and if he hadn't begged him back they probably would have been relegated. They are where they are in spite of Mandaric.

Our only hope is if he get's lucky again....hardly likely given his pathetic record of appointing managers. That or if some foreign investor becomes interested. Again, hardly likely.

The more I see Mandaric at work the less I believe he is good for Leicester City. I know the previous regime were the pits but we've jumped out of the frying pan into the fire with this meddling maniac.

Harry Redknapp left Pompey because of MM's interferring, unfortunately as he's putting in money I guess he thinks he should have some say. I can see why MA didn't want Hasslebank, it seems he was unfit & I think he would have been a lazy Prima Donna who would not have particularly cared about playing but just been interested in seeing his career out & getting paid.....much the same as the likes of Keown.

Get it sorted Mandric cos you're going to need more than money to keep the fans happy.

I can only say, that after all this that has happend, no matter what we say or do. MM owns the club and he is the boss so he makes the rules....

There must have been something seriously wrong, MA signed a new squad, i will now be interested to see which players will be kept when the new gaffer comes in.

Its going to hurt us big, because the new man has to come in and adapt and put his own team together, he will be under so much pressure.

Anyway as this is all about opinions, i really thought that MA was a great choice for a manager and im sorry to see that he has gone, but we have to move on for the sake of our club.....

I just hope this isnt yet another " Leicester Circus Season"

Sort it out and lets get back on track!

Gutted and livid.

If he's going to behave like this I don't want him running the club.

And if he to bring Warnock anywhere near Leicester....

mandaric out?

yeah bring back rob kelly and no money.

with a bit of luck we'd be favourites for relegation this year.

that blinking milan mandaric, how dare he come here, stabilise the club with his millions and lay some foundations for promotion.

get him out i say too!

On much of this i agree. But we simply don't know exactly what went on behind the scenes. if they couldn't work together (as seems likely) then this would not have been in the long term interests of the club. Signing "name" players can have an immediate impact on the numbers og bumbs on seats and so far our signings have not really gone far towards doing that. For eg our season ticket sales are roughly the same as last season (think 13000 pre season) hardly and indicator of faith in the new signings from the public. A high profile signing or two may well have seen an increase in season ticket sales and matchday sales thus giving more money to the club and of course to MM. Also shirt sales may have increased. If there were fundamental business reasons behind this decision then as the owner of the club MM is fully justified in taking the decision he has made if he believes the manager is satnding in the way of the development of the club. In my opinion it was simply too early from a pure footballing sense to tell whether or not there were real improvements. personally i think the squad though better than before is terribly thin in depth of quality and experience and maybe here lies the reason for their supposed fallout.

If we end up getting into the play offs or promoted then we will all look back upon this decision as an excellent one. the timing is not great but then is it ever? probably though it is better now than later in the season.

So who do you suggest should run the club?

We were happy to take the guys money when we needed it!!

Yes believe it or not we need Milan more then he needs us so isn't it best to shut the fvck up and let the owner of the club get on with his three year plan-unless of course you care to put your hand in your pocket-oh didn't think so!

I suggest you look at a dictionary and check out the meaning of the word stabilise.

You obviously know even less about it than Mandaric does! :o:o

Having a wealthy publicity ho as a chairman does not guarantee success. Ask any Leeds fan.

true.i agree. it does not gurantee success

but then our pre-milan state absolutely 100% guaranteed no success whatsoever

As much as being fudged off with yesterdays events, wanting Milan out is ridiculous as without him we would be down shite creek without a paddle.

We can only hope the next manager is the right choice.

Protest's etc are not going to help us the fans are they? We want to win matches not cast a depressive atmosphere over our players that must have played a part in the lacklustre displays of the past few years.

I did think MA's team selections were plain bizarre, and not filling vital positions pre season when they were so obviously required also bizarre. Watford was a strange win - we never really looked a great side - we never had a any real and consistant shape - more kick and rush and it worked on them - I think Watford were slightly taken aback

The forest team was also weird - changing the goalkeeper, playing a transfer listed player as centre half etc either was nut's (and the main two culprits for the 1 nil down), not being bothered about the game, underestimating forest, or knew he was going so was having a laugh (although his passion during the game would suggest otherwise).

I haven't a clue who messed up on the signings of Cort, Neilsson (and I suspect a few others). I was doubting him (MA) but do think its banana's not to have given him to at least January to settle down.
