foxes-are-blue Posted 2 September 2007 Posted 2 September 2007 Help needed, I am lucky enough to get a company car. however the choice is not great. What should I choose between the following: New Mondeo Zetec Citreon C5 Exclusive New Laguna Dynamic S (new car not out until next month so not actually seen it!) Mazda 6 Sport Toyota Avensis T3 -X :S
hebangsthedrums Posted 2 September 2007 Posted 2 September 2007 Mazda 6 or Mondeo if its a decent sized engine.
Bryn Posted 2 September 2007 Posted 2 September 2007 Mazda 6 is a lovely, lovely car. My dad gets one as a lease car as well and it's the best one he's had. Looks gorgeous in silver, smooth ride. A beautiful car. A silver Mazda 6 is the correct choice.
Tommeh Posted 2 September 2007 Posted 2 September 2007 I'd take the avensis, although Mazda 6 would be good too.] Avoid the C5!! And also the laguna, it'll be replaced soon.
The People's Hero Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 The Mazda 6 sport, providing it's of a similar spec to the others. Or the Avensis actually. Why not go out and test-drive one of each? The Mazda 6 is essentially a ford Mondeo. But better looking. And as it's a sport, it should have a decent bit of grunt. The Avensis is a car I like too though. I'd say personal preference between those two.
Daggers Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 Mazda, without a doubt. Oi, young lady - shouldn't you be preparing detention lists and marking schemes?! Up till 1am on a school night, indeed!
Kent Fox Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 New Mondeo ZetecCitreon C5 Exclusive New Laguna Dynamic S (new car not out until next month so not actually seen it!) Mazda 6 Sport Toyota Avensis T3 -X I'd take the new Mondeo. Citroen are crap cars. No arguments. The Laguna is not bad if it is decent spec. The Mazda 6 is smart, but I don't think it is quite as good as the Ford overall. Toyota - forget it! BTW, if you get a diesel, you won't pay as much tax. And your boss will love you for saving him fuel costs
Lichfieldfox. Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 Toss up between the Mondeo with rave reviews and the Mazda6 which I think is replaced very soon. French reliability poor.Avensis is fine, reliable but no fun.Get the one with most toys and a decent shade of blue

Dr The Singh Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 Not much a choice, all of the cars are similar!! The Mondeo is a new shape, depends on whether you like it!! Mazda 6 is aging and is due for replacement!! Laguna is also a new model me thinks!! Toyota's are reliable but dull!! I would look at the tax cost for each and then decide!!
