Mud wrestling with Babbage again? :P

I know exactly how my day will be tomorrow. It will be shite and I'll be locked in the Library locating the 16 books I need for this fecking essay I have to get finished, I am technically allowed to ask for an extension due to my illness but I am refusing to use it as an excuse not to do anything.

Played

I must say I'm not a fan of assignments or essays that have a minimum number of words to write. Always feel under pressure, whereas I'd probably write plenty without a word count hanging over it.

Drew 1-1 today with team in 3rd. Good result for us :).

Got my first ever 'bizarre' injury. Running back...referee about a metre infront of me. Ball goes out for a throw so referee signals. As he does so, his arm goes straight out in front of me, so as I duck and lean out of the way, I pull a muscle in my back >_<

The bugger hunts out the muddiest puddles, rolls around in the then lies waiting to be discovered.

It's as if he willingly wants to get into bother - what do they say about dogs taking after their owners?

Wife told her sister that I'd never last the whole day drinking, she went on record to say that she'd be picking me up from the station before 8 - she was spot on.

Apparently drunk blokes going to bed at half eight snore a lot and keep wives awake all night.

Me? I found sleeping through till 9:30 this morning left me delightfully refreshed.

What a weekend.

Went to watch abit of local football on Saturday with a few of my mates game ended up 5-4. Decided on going out for a "social" one up town with Tommeh and eventually met Alb in the Borough. Probably one of the best nights I've had.

Won today 5-3 against 3rd in the League, quality result and now I'm just chilling looking out of my window finally appreciating the clock going forward!

Drunk blokes snore a lot and keep wives awake all night regardless of the bedtime.

And some blokes (even when not drunk) are adamant they don't snore when they patently do.

did you start work at 3am or earlier?

A 12 midnight to 6am shift would have been good (well, better than usual, in that 1 hour shorter, of course) :giggle:
