Just chilled out all day and didnt do much. Got a phone call from a lad asking if I wanted to go Jimmy Car tonight so Im guessing my days gonna get a whole lot better :D

Worked 9-6. It's hard work playing with toys for 9 hours.

My day consisted of paperwork-emailing-bit more paperwork-sell things-email someone-play pool and table football-sell more things.

Hard days.

Oh and throw in about 10 fag breaks :P

Just back from my first visit to the Musician. Thought how lucky Leicester is to have such a terrific Cavern-like venue hosting such an impressive variety of artists.

And how lucky I was to get a ticket for the sell-out visit of Nazareth who, far from sounding like ageing has-beens managed to deliver a better show than some I've seen at front line venues and by far the best I've seen in an "Underground" location.

There was nothing tired or "through the motions" about the performance, just a full-of-enthusiasm display of genuine non-synthetic musicianship for the price of a round of drinks. Brilliant. Can't wait for my next visit. Perhaps they'll let me try out their band bus - an awesome beast if ever I saw one.

Refreshing too to attend a sizeable public function - complete with busy bar- where there was no need for heavyweight doormen presenting a provocative presence nor small armies of stewards or policemen justifying their existence.

Just went to colege to check the marking on a piece of work I submitted. Didnt think id passed it and found out I got a distinction. Pretty good start to the day :D

Not bad, Might be going self employed, depending on a few things I need to check out and get advice on. :thumbup:

Nice early finish, then into the pub for a couple pints.

Not sure i'm doing it yet though, just looking into the idea, I'm in a temporary job at the moment, but I can be even more of a money grabbing bastard if I go self employed/sub contract, just depends if the company can guarantee me regular work, whilst I get other companies to take me sub contract, e.t.c.

Need to talk to a few people I know and think about it first, i'm not gonna jump into it especially with the way things economically are at the moment.
