Went and bought some paint ready for re-decorating my room, went to work and just been relaxing since I got back.

Work tomorrow morning at 8 is gonna be shit, but going to a mates BBQ and getting smashed at his ready for a night out after the BBQ. Looking forward to it.

OK, my day so far....

Working in the public sector frankly sucks sometimes, the political landscape ebbs and flows and currently it does not favour me. I have had some informal chats/warnings from my boss who clearly does not want me on the team anymore despite being one of the biggest fee earners (I am not a 'yes' man and have criticised my boss, the direction taken and business decisions taken by the organisation)

I have been told that I must keep a journal of everything I do and this will be discussed in 2 weeks time (just before I go on holiday, yip yah!) and that the next chat will be more formal.

But I have my son over this weekend and we have played on the internet and tomorrow will be an Xbox fest after I have taken him into work for an open morning so not all bad.

Looking for a new job with a car.... tough out there but I will come through!!

Was awake for 30 hours straight. Went to work on thirsday evening, got home at 7:30am yesterday and decided that by the time id had a quick tidy up and shaved my head and face that i may aswell just stay up and run some errands, get them out the way. Anyway, got back home around 5pm yesterday and put two coats of paint on in the bathroom. Sat down around 7pm and watched some tv with a large jd & coke.....and that is genuinly the.last thing i can remember. woke up in bed this morning but have.absolutely no idea how i got there. and feel like ive been smashed across the face with the hangover stick! Only had ONE drink. When the old woman gets up hopefully she can shed some light on this as at the moment i feel a little violated.

Somehow my company have entered me into the uk corporate games - I had no inclination of this untill yesterday when my boss told me he was taking me to loughborogh uni to sign in - now when you consider I'm about as athletic as a stray dog you can forgive me for thinking that this isn't a great deal - a sports day for the local community -

Nein fraulien - this is a big deal, asda have entered about 190 competitors and it's a national thing, something tells me I'm not takingthis seriously enough so today I'm up early ready to do a 10k race - my entire preparation consists of a pint of water and then as I'm shaking the glass out, accidentally smashing it into the counter top and subsequently into my hand! - and it keeps pissing it down - don't bet on this horse to come anywhere near the front!

I sent the usual E-Mail around exclaiming that i had to pull out of this tournament due to 'work commitments'. When i said i was half decent at footy they must of thaught i was like Messi whereas im more of a shit Leon Crnic.

Because I'll be on holiday when it's my birthday I got a Next voucher from someone so I went to the sale today before7am. It was already busy. There were loads of women there with 5/6 bulging carrier bags in each hand coming out. Incredible.

My best mate's going away for 5 weeks on monday, so last night we went on a bit of a pub crawl round by his, remember nothing after pub 3, but I now have no money on me, having left with 35 quid. I haven't been to bed yet, my head wrecks and I'm not really sure if I'm on the right bus home.

I've got another 40 quid at home and a big group of us are off out again tonight for the same reason, when I finally feel up to moving.

I love a good weekend.

Well aside from the PISSING down rain running around a cornfield and very nearly falling arse first into a respectably sized cow shit it actually turned out to be quite fun, obviously I was on my own so got chatting to these birds from Newcastle who work for IBM - got a number off one of em and although I really didn't have a clue what I was doing I'm pretty sure I came in the top half - didn't hang around in the rain to see the official results but I'm sure there's a website around somewhere

One downside was all the men had red numbers and women had grey - apart from me the the person I was subbed for is a girl so every1 was looking at me as if I was totally confused or a particularly ugly dyke - ahh well swings and roundabouts!
