Kent Fox Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 Gary Megson will last just about 7 minutes His wife just told me that was normal for him. Not as good as me, by all accounts.
He's not bald Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 Families in close proximity, fuelled by alcohol, it's a recipe for disaster. Yep,happens in our house every weekend, and most evenings come to think of it!
Finnegan Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 Gary Megson will last just about 7 minutesHis wife just told me that was normal for him. Not as good as me, by all accounts. Yeah, you were quite proud of 8.14, eh?
BigGibbo Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 How long will he last? What? You mean he's STILL HERE!?!?!?! Oh the hilarity
The People's Hero Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 Yeah, you were quite proud of 8.14, eh? Took him 6 minutes to get his belt undone! Wahey! Seriously 2.14 is not bad for the actual nitty gritty of getting the job done.

Wahey!Seriously 2.14 is not bad for the actual nitty gritty of getting the job done. Close to the truth, mate. Actually, Mrs Megson cut my belt off in the end as she realised I was reluctant to remove it. She might look better after copious amounts of alcohol...
BigGibbo Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 OLE! ZING! BOOM! OUCH! You just fell down some stairs
AyewJoking Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 Let him spend money bringing in "his own" players in January then sack him and leave someone else to pick up the pieces.

Matt Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 So that email to Milan never made it from the outbox then considering your change of heart. And today I got a reply from Milan's biatch. She basically said there are obviously going to be times throughout Milan's tenure when fans are going to disagree with Milan, I understand that, Some fans will be happy with Milan's decisions, some will be disappointed. She has recognized my disappointment in the e-mail of Milan's last couple of decision's regarding the club and has offered me a refund on my Season Tickets I will still keep my Season Ticket because basically as she said Milan may make decisions I and many others will disagree with but in the long term we probably will have something to cheer about for once, and hopefully fairly soon. If the refund was offered on the day Martin Allen was sacked or a few days after or when the night before/day Megson was appointed as an instant reaction I may have accepted the offer, but I know I have to stick by the club, and I wouldn't like to say i'd never turn my back on the club because we never know whats ahead and if something that bad (Not sure of an example I can make) but i'd find it to hard in most cases to turn my back on the club. And now i've had time to think about it and as I was saying last night, we have to give Megson a chance and I will be more than happy if he does well (and gets good performances) but Milan, i'll forgive because we'd be worse off without him and i'm sure good things will come while he is here but i'll struggle to forget the things he has done so far. But everyone makes mistakes.
MPH Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 I really dont think MM really cares what sort of uproar he causes i think he does to some degree. if he annoys people too much it will mean less bums on seats, less money, ect
Rich Fox Posted 14 September 2007 Posted 14 September 2007 Surely he mst intend to keep Megson long term cus hes given him a 3 year contract.Does anyone know how much Milan had to pay to get rid of Allen. He cant afford to do this too often.

He cant afford to do this too often. Thats what I was saying in another thread, Does Milan not learn? I mean ok if Megson doesn't work out Milan's the one paying him off i'm not bothered but for a so called business man its a big gamble I know in business you have to take gambles and spend money to make money but the amount of managers he has sacked, and you should really learn from you mistakes i.e Perhaps not putting managers on such long contracts. Once you can accept as a mistake, Twice - Your just fecking stupid. Maybe Megson may be our man, I hope he is but how can you be so sure to risk 3 years of wages if it comes to sacking him? Maybe Megson wanted a 3 year contract to seal the deal and Milan agreed to his demands? Win win situation for Megson that way isn't it, If he here for the 3 years he's got a job - He's happy, If he gets sacked it's payday for Megson - He's happy.
