Give him a couple of months to settle in and impose his vision of what is needed, and at that stage people will be able to form a view of how good or bad a job he's done.

Nobody would be saying that if we'd lost though, just like he got the brunt of the blame for drawing with QPR when he was not even in charge.

They were up for it as it gives them a chance to do something with their season. And the fact we struggled to beat them suggests a good cup tie and not necessarily a poor performance. We just need to play like that every week, ideally somewhat better.

Megson should take no praise for this at all,he hid away for nearly all of the match when he should have been out there...pathetic coward!
