Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 Had a weird dream about LCFC last night. Basically... Megson got sacked. Milan said he wasn't passionate enough and they would be replacing him with someone who really cared. For some reason the unveiling of the new manager wasn't done in the traditional press conference setting. Instead, all the fans had to gather outside this city hall-type building and Milan called the new manager to walk down this corridor and emerge through a door. So this bloke walks through the door and is photographed by hundreds of fans and media. I couldn't quite the place the face as a known football manager to start with, then I realised it was James The Blue. Now, nothing against JTB, he seems like a very nice chap indeed, but I'm not sure I'd trust him as manager of our football club. However, our fans appeared to take to him very quickly and the buzz was that he knew what he was doing financially so he would be good in the transfer market, and that he was a Leicester fan so he would care more than Megson. Then there was some sort of press conference in the car park at the Walkers involving Milan, JTB and an OHP (the fit girl from Sports Development at my work had to show Milan how to use the OHP although I don't think he bothered with it in the end). Then they unveiled JTB's assistant manager. At this stage I thought "oh good, it'll be someone useful like when Taggart arrived with Megson or Venables as assistant to McClaren". For some bizarre reason, the assistant manager was revealed to be Monk. I started to get quite annoyed at this point because these muppets are meant to be meeting us at the pub before the Charlton game and they obviously weren't going to be able to make it if they were becoming the management team of the football club. I think I woke up then.

Kent Fox Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 Fez - you are spending waaayyy too much time on this forum if you are dreaming about the people on it...
Fez of Mahrez Posted 21 September 2007 Author Posted 21 September 2007 Fez - you are spending waaayyy too much time on this forum if you are dreaming about the people on it... Hmm, kind of true I suppose, although I do go to games with these people too. I saw this article on the BBC page about workers being sacked in Wales for going on eBay for "up to two hours a day". That sort of behaviour is really unacceptable.
James. Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 After yesterday's discussions I can well imagine who'd be leading the JTB Out campaign! If this ever comes true, god help us all. I can barely remember what day of the week it is never mind manage a football team. Although at least that's my signature sorted. I was looking for a new one. Fez - you are spending waaayyy too much time on this forum if you are dreaming about the people on it... Oi, I'll have you know I'm well worth dreaming about. You should try it some time.

Wils Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 I was dreaming about Mice last night for some reason.
Monk Posted 21 September 2007 Posted 21 September 2007 Whilst it is worrying that Fez is dreaming about me, to be honest it could have been a lot worse. Mate I think you should lay off those chocolate brownies OK? Too much sugar. As for myself as assistant manager I'm sure that myself and JTB can share in our infinite wealth of knowledge and experience, possibly throw a few economic models into the bargain. I would dictate an all out attack philosophy, 3-4-3 regardless of opposition. Loads of through balls, and I vow to re sign Julian Joachim. D'you think milan would employ me?
