Marco Ferreira, and Hossein Kaebi actually

I can't believe anyone can say they should definitely be playing. Do we watch the players train everyday? Manager always knows best.

So why do so many of em get sacked?. :D

Errr. Rob Kelly? Craig Levein?

I'm on about picking the team short term wise. (They know who is performing well in training and who is match fit etc)

Kaebi not even on bench for Charlton game what the hell is going on? Probably one of the best talents we have and an attacking midfielder who we need to play to 'attack' and score goals. Hume's shit on right wing, get him back up front. Theres no explanation as to why Kaebi hasn't played, he hasn't even been given a chance and was the one player i was really looking forward to watching pre season. He says he's settled in now so why isn't he playing. He is about the only option we have now on right wing if we are gonna win games. Hayes looked really good when he came on V Blackpool and hasn't played since. Thats just typical Leicester, have major problems on the wings then don't play their international wingers. I just can't believe this now, 2-0 down at half time, bet Megson won't play 4-3-3 to actually try and get back into the game, and players like Hayes, Kaebi are no where to be seen.

Lets just try and avoid relegation, because the way this season's going, can't see us being anywhere near top half.

The fact is whre is Marco Ferreira and Kaebi ? ? Got to be better than what we have at the moment.

Fulop

Chambers N Gotty Kisnorbo Mccauly

Kaebi Clemenece Kisischev Ferreria

Hume Campbell

You may be right about them being better but it SHOULDN'T be the case. All our squad members have been seen to play well on different occasions and, indeed to be fairly consistent in the main, if rarely outstanding.

For so many to be so awful is inexplicable in any normal circumstances.

But i think they should be given a chance in a game situation

Lots of fans thought Kaebi should play - or at least be on the bench, including me.

That view was ignored.

Ferreira hasn't done enough to convince me and I couldn't see the point in having two right sided midfielders on the bench.

I really want to see Keabi involved asap, and Hume up top alongside one of Cort/Fryatt/DeV with Campbell on the bench

Sadly I fear, seriously, that a manager like Megson will not give him a chance. He'd certainly never of signed a player like that

Leicester City is doing the same thing with kaebi that bayern munchen did with karimi after his injury. never giving him a chance in the First team

Before the bandwagon gets carried away, let's look at it conversely; how can you say they're not quality players before you see them play?

I didn't say that they weren't you pillock. I said we shouldn't be calling them quality before we've seen them play, learn to read. ffs.

Ok i have seen Kaebi play 50+ games, including 3 in world cup, including a magnificent performance vs Portugal, including a kick into the face of figo :D;)lol. He was named one of the 10 world future talents. He has played for Iran over 60 times and made his debut for national team at only 16.

Now is it ok if i call him a quality player.

ferreira i have never seen play so i dont care about him.

Yes thats fine. Why wouldn't it be :dunno:

I'm not having a crack at Hossein Kaebi, I'm having a dig at people who seem to think he's the answear to all our problems despite never having seen him play.

And this thread is directed at Ferrira more than Kaebi, he was more of an after thought.

No one knows who effective either player will be in this league, I would like to see both given a chance. But I wont be reffering to them as quality players until I've actually watched them both and payed attention.

As it happens, I've seen both play, probabley more than three times. But I don't recall much about their performances, I watched the games they were involved in quite passively. So I wont be banging on about how good they are.

I'll admit that I haven't seen either of the blokes play, but they're both international wingers. Now, surely if we're being logical about things, the fact that both blokes have been capped by their respective nations out wide means they might well be better equipped to do a wingers' job than a full-back and a striker?? It wouldn't hurt to fooking try them, ffs.

You do talk shit...especially since I've wanted Kaebi in the team for weeks.

But the club might think it prudent to give him time to settle and familiarise himself with players names and football shouts before subjecting him to first team pressure.

You're like all PC reactionaries. You want to make issues where none exist.

In fact I imagine racism still exists because of divisive cheapskates like you.

Apart from being one of the few who wanted Paul Ince as our manager I had multinational girlfriends and friends long before the word racism was in common use.

And as county captain in my sport I think I was the first to introduce a multi-racial team and to encourage multi-racial participation specifically.

So don't lecture me on things you clearly know little about. The football's plenty.

If you dont have racist views when it comes to football, why feel the need to comment about certain players needing interpreters as written in the quote below? Anyway, you dont have to prove anything to me but your constant over-rating of the kids is typical of someone who just wants a team full of local lads, even if that means we are shite. You said last season when we were hovering above the relegation zone that you wouldn't mind if we got relegated and just stuck with a load of academy kids to see us back up and thats typical of someone who hasn't got a clue about what modern day football is about and it harbours some sought of idiotic idealistic view that we should have a team full of academy players. Get with 2007 mate.

At least we something of those players week after week, even season after season.

They have also been schooled in the ways of the club, know all the players, have invariably trained with the first team and don't need the assistance of an interpreter to make themselves understood.

lol Daggers, I m sure you could have added plenty more on the list and not worried about the question mark.

To get back on topic, after a miserable performance today that was so short of any creativity that the 90 plus minutes had my guts tied in knots, I plead for the management to give Ferreira and Kaebi a chance if fit. We were woeful today and it was the same old story and we need some exuberance and skill in wide positions to help out the attackers.

I shook Kaebi's hand today ! He really does look interested in our club, also looks like he really wants to play for us. His interpretor looks like he gets involved with the training as well!

I mentioned Kaebi needing an interpreter because that might help explain why he is not yet in the first team squad. The club might simply want to give him more time to acclimatise.

You also clearly have no idea what I would want in a squad but I can assure you that a) I probably watch far more modern football than you b) our young players contribute as much as anyone to our first team successes and the biuggest single factor yesterday was the absence of Wesolowski and I don't suppose the deployment of a newly signed right back into central midfield helped either.

As for Kaebi and Ferreira, Kaebi has been touted by every fan and his dog for a place in the side, including me. Ferreira has played only on the right so far - and I've no idea what makes you think he's at all suited to the left.

Seen Ferreira more than i've seen Kaebi. Ferreira is more than good enough for this level, especially given we have no other decent wingers. He isn't as quick as he used to be, but he's got the skill and movement to trouble the opposition more than Sheehan, Mattock, Newton and Hume can from the wings.

Kaebi is fearless, i'm sure he's a liability at times. But things are hardly going great for us at the minute and we need something to kick start us, he'd be useful coming off the bench when we need something to happen. He'll get the ball and run at teams, they don't like that. It's far more dangerous than 6 defenders trying to keep the game at 0-0 for 90 minutes.

As I've said I've not said "they aren't good enough for this level" I just think quality is a bit of a strong word to be using.

How neither of them made the bench on Saturday I'll never know.

His attitude has been spot on every outing. I can see absolutely no reason he shouldn't be on the right side of our midfield. It is not as if we are making great threats from there.

Unless you've actually seen them play more than 3 times, please stop calling them "quality players"

Thank you.

If Ferreira isn't a better option that Sheehan, I'll eat my sodding right arm.

Look at Mark Yeates as well. 3 goals already this season from left wing. He was ridiculed here last season, but he's having a great start so far. Ok, Sheehan has a couple of free-kicks as well, hat's off to him. But he's not a left winger. I'm horrified at the selection on Saturday, what a fookin shit house.

If Megson picks 6 defenders again on Wednesday I might be on the pitch to do soemthing about it.

AAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!
