Guest ttfn Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Hey get behind them Gary Megson is the man to take us forward and with Milan Millions we will be playing in europe in 2 years time. Get off there backs FFS. I have to presume you're joking. If not, did you go to the game? I did - it was shameful.
ASH17LCFC Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 I have to presume you're joking. If not, did you go to the game? I did - it was shameful. Yeh twas a joke, I heard we got off to a good start about it really. Did they sing ONE GARY MEGSON ?
martyn Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 what a horrendous display Fulop 5 Stearman 3 McAuley 3 Kisnorbo 4 Mattock 5.5 Hume 4 Clemence 6 Chambers 3 Sheehan 3 Cort 4 Fryatt 4 N'Gotty 5 Kishishev 4.5 DJ 5
Thracian Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 what a horrendous displayFulop 5 Stearman 3 McAuley 3 Kisnorbo 4 Mattock 5.5 Hume 4 Clemence 6 Chambers 3 Sheehan 3 Cort 4 Fryatt 4 N'Gotty 5 Kishishev 4.5 DJ 5 Normally I'd laugh at that but it sounded about right. And what a testimony it is to Megson's motivational abilities. Every team has players who have a bad day. But eight first choices having a diabolical day? What the hell is going on?
Basingstoke Fox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 There is no way people will just get off thei backs after that performance we were absolutely dreadful. Not once did we look like scorin and that my last city game till another southern one probably colchester in november thanks very much megson you C*** seriously under allen we would have given it a go i want to forget about allen but i just cant
Pete_foxes Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 what the **** is Megson doing playing Chambers at centre midfield?
BedsFox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 because it came right at Forest, he thought he would try it again I was amazed, thought Kishishev had to play there today away from home
dandannieldanok Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 But eight first choices having a diabolical day? What the hell is going on? It is no different to what has been happening for the last two seasons so you should be used to it now.
Lovejoy Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 because it came right at Forest, he thought he would try it againI was amazed, thought Kishishev had to play there today away from home Forest and Charlton? Hmm obviously similar in terms of ability. League 1 nothingers and Championship frontrunners. I've given Megson all the support I can but my patience is going quickly. Jose for Leicester!!!
blueoveru Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 just got back............disgraceful...... utter rubbish, we are no nearer to a good side than we were 3 years ago, a disgrace to the blue shirt they wore
rugbyfox jnr Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Fulop 5.5 Stearman 2 (what was he doing) McAuley 3.5 Kisnorbo 5 Mattock 5 Hume 5 (but was out of position and obviously not happy) Clemence 6.5 (tried to rally the team) Chambers 3 (out of position) Sheehan 3 (out of position) Cort 4 (not fit enough for 90mins) Fryatt 4 (not a fan) N'Gotty 6 (solid should have started) Kishishev 5 (gave up the chase to easily at times) DJ 5 (should have started instead of Fryatt) in my opinion to many times players going for the same ball, no communication out there,
Trumpet Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 because it came right at Forest, he thought he would try it againI was amazed, thought Kishishev had to play there today away from home It didn't come right at forest though, we were given a get out of jail card, because forest are the same as us, they can't hang on to a win. My take on todays shambles: Fulop N/A Stearman N/A McAuley N/A Kisnorbo N/A Mattock N/A Hume N/A Clemence N/A Chambers N/A Sheehan N/A Cort N/A Fryatt N/A N'Gotty N/A 2-0 down, why megson, why? Kishishev N/A ^ DJ N/A
Thracian Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 For those who went, was this our worst performance of the last four seasons?
lcfc_thefoxes Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 mcauley today i thought was shameful, chambers did nothing (out of position, benefit of the doubt), but today esecially i noticed our wing play was our downfall - charlton used the wings really effectively, especially with llyod sam. But overall, a woeful performance and i certanly expect better or megson wont last as long as allen without any major bust ups
BedsFox Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 What a question! it has some competition!! Was Taylor vs Bolton 0-5 less than four seasons ago? Probably not so quite possibly!
Trumpet Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 For those who went, was this our worst performance of the last four seasons? It'd sit comfortably among the top 10. And you know like I do, we've put up with some shit performances over the last few years.
Nationwider Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Dear FT-ers, I didn't go today, and I've not seen City play this season. Despite this, a few things about today's team selection confused me. I'm not a jibbering idiot - I watch a lot of football generally, please excuse me for not being very up-to-date on LCFC 07/08 ... but the following troubled me:- 1. Kishishev, an experienced international midfielder, didn't start in central midfield. But a relatively inexperienced full-back did. Any ideas why? 2. The consensus seems to be that MDV has started the season quite well. So why did Cort start ahead of him? 3. Toe-poked goal aside, did Stearman really warrant a start ahead of Chambers, Kenton or N'Gotty for that specific position? 4. Is Hume playing wide right? And if he is, is this a good thing? 5. Would our collection of exotic foreign wingers have added any value today? 6. Having paid a zillion pounds for Dudley, should we not just be giving him an extended run to really boost his confidence? Or is he a turkey? Yours sincerely, Confused, North-East.

Fook off does he, can't remember the last time he played well, 2 seasons ago? 4. Yes, and no it isn't 5. Didn't go (thankfully) but they should be given a chance (Kaebi and Ferra) 6. Once he gets a few, I think the floodgates may open
Micky Ruddle Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Hey get behind them Gary Megson is the man to take us forward and with Milan Millions we will be playing in europe in 2 years time. Manwell Pablo Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 For those who went, was this our worst performance of the last four seasons? Probabley not, we've probabley just been beaten by a better side and of course, as usual people have a hard time excepting it. After all we are Leicester City, Man U Chelsea Arsenal and Liverpool aside, we shoud beat anyone.
Micky Ruddle Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 For those who went, was this our worst performance of the last four seasons? Remember Burnley few seasons ago. Lost 1-0 to Akinbiyi. That was very, very bad.
Monk Posted 22 September 2007 Posted 22 September 2007 Its not the worst performance I've seen in recent years, Of the away games I did make it to last season - QPR for example, we were far worse than we were today, but against some really woefully poor opposition. I'm not going to give any ratings today, I wouldnt give anyone above a 5 apart from possibly Clemence a 6. The problems were a combination of a poor performance and abysmally poor tactics. Both need sorting out pronto else we are going to have to start some next manager polls.
