filbertway Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 I didn't miss the point at all - you chose to misinterpret my reply. Nothing unusual about that. As for being stupid - I'd be more comfortable being stupid than as clever as you pretend to be. If you prefer Chambers or Kishishev in our midfield don't let me inhibit you. What was the point then, because all I can see is you saying he would prefer chambers or kish

If Chambers plays in mid-field again i'll be furious. Can't pass. . Simple.

Webbo Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 Fulop - 7 McAuley - 7 N'Gotty - 8 Kisnorbo - 7 Stearman - 7 Chambers - 5 King - 5 Sorry Thrac, didn't impress me last night, and I bet him to score first. Kishishev - 5 Mattock - 7.5 Hume - 6 Fryatt - 7 Faded in the second half. I begining to think that coming on as sub is the best tactic with him. Subs Cort - 6 DJ - N/A PS did any body notice that we only had 1 ball last night? Do you think this is a Megson tactic to slow the game down?

Thracian Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 What was the point then, because all I can see is you saying he would prefer chambers or kish I didn't say that at all. I said IF he'd prefer to champion Kish or Chambers then he shouldn't let me inhibit him. I didn't say or imply that he WOULD prefer those two. My point being that it would be his opinion and he should champion whoever he liked.
Simon Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 I've not had time to look at everyone's match ratings but I hope the reaction wasn't the same as a lot of the Kopites last night. Okay, we lacked quality at times, but the effort and application was obviously there, and in the end, but for a bit of quality in the final third, we night have nicked a not undeserved win. Having said I thought the effort was there I've based my ratings on the quality of performance, just so we can differentiate between the two. Thought King did OK, although a little nervous (he was hardly getting a lot of help) but when he had the time he did play some good probing little balls. Unfortunately, they weren't often enough, and he did go missing a bit. But there is potential there and all the moaning biddies in Kop can shut their mouths cause I'd like to see them do a lot better. Also, really think it's time we swapped Stearman and Chambers, if Meggy's going to persist with the two of them as it's just getting silly with Chambers there now. Fulop- 8 McAuley- 6.5 Kisnorbo- 6.5 N'Gotty- 7 Stearman- 7 Chambers- 5 (IS NOT A MIDFIELDER!) King- 5 Kish- 5 Mattock- 7 Hume- 6 Fryatt- 7 (on another day would've bagged a goal) Subs Cort- 6.5 Deej- 6

Alright then Surely that's like me saying if you think Maybury is a better left back than sheehan then don't let me inhibit you, you should champion him.

It does somewhat read as if you have an opinion, don't let me stop you. Which is odd. Hey ho.
