TheBlinding Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Fulop 8 (A couple of great saves to keep us in the game) Stearman 6 (What does he bring to the team? Poor going forward, average in defence) N'gotty 7.5 (Rock solid at the back) Kisnorbo and McAuley 7s (Strong in defence but shocking distribution) Mattock 7 (Did ok but needs to get more balls into the box) Chambers 5 (Strong in the tackle but pathetic passing, have to blame Megson for playing him there though) Kishishev 3 (Did he touch the ball more than 5 times?) King 5 (Looked lost most of the time, no support from the other two though) Hume 5 (One of the worst games i've seen him play for us, touch was poor a lot of the time and he gave the ball away constantly, better in midfield) Fryatt 6.5 (Decent performance, should have scored first half though) Subs: Cort and Campbell (Looked sharp and more threatening than Hume and Fryatt did)
davieG Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Fulop - 6+1 for what i'm sure was a one handed catch from a cross Stearman 8 McAuley 7 Ngotty 6 Kisnorbo 6 Mattock 5 Chambers 3 King 6 Kish 6 Hume 8 Frayatt 6 Cort 6 DJ 5
mkingy Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 DJ Cambell ran circles around the defense. Only trouble is when you run in a circle you end up back when you started. I felt we had the better of the chances, especially in the second half, maybe i'll just deluded Still haven't seen Leicester Loose at the Walkers in the League
ASH17LCFC Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Fulop 7 - Made a good save first half Stearman 6 - Can't cross a ball and takes far too long McAuley 7 - Solid Ngotty 7 - Played well and nearly got in on goal Kisnorbo - 7 didnt do much wrong Mattock 4 - Played awful and dont know how to take a player on and did mention AWFUL Chambers 4 - Shite can't play in midfield. King 5 - Started well but then faded Kish 6 - Alright winning tackles but nothing going forward Hume 7 - Tried his hardest but got no real support going forward Fryatt 6 - maybe should have scored in the 2nd half but was working hard for the team Cort 5 - Had ago DJ 5 - Not good enough
Mark Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Fulop - 7 Stearman 6 McAuley 6 Ngotty 6 Kisnorbo 6 Mattock 7 Chambers 3 King 5 - wasn't in the game that much but those around don't help, did play alot of nice little passes though Kishishev 4 Hume 5 Fryatt 5 Cort 5 DJ 5 Another horrible game, I don't think I can keep watching this rubbish it's so depressing.
Shroomjuice Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Fulop 7N'Gotty 7 McAuley 7 Kisnorbo 7.25 Stearman 7.5 Mattock 7.75 Chambers 6 King 8.5 Kishishev 6.25 Fryatt 6.5 Hume 6.5 There you go King 8.5 are you joking. He will be a good player for us in the future but was timid and apart from a few nice touches poor
filbertway Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Fulop - 6+1 for what i'm sure was a one handed catch from a crossStearman 8 McAuley 7 Ngotty 6 Kisnorbo 6 Mattock 5 Chambers 3 King 6 Kish 6 Hume 8 Frayatt 6 Cort 6 DJ 5 Ehhh? Any cance you could explain that one? He looked poor to me, he completed about 2% of his passes, everything went out of play. He's just too slow and sluggish.

Sparky Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 fulop 7 (great 1 handed save in 1st half) stearman 6 ngotty 7 kisnorbo 6 mcauley 6 mattock 6 chambers 5 king 5 ( very tough debut against olifinjana and lost his battle but did ok, keep him in squad ) kishishev 5 fryatt 4 (shocking performance ) hume 6 dj 4 cort 4 how bad must hellings be if he couldnt make tonights squad
Scaramanga! Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Fulop 8 - Made 2 great saves, looked very solid N'Gotty 6 - Solid enough, but 1 or 2 little mistakes Kisnorbo 5 - Looked a bit shaky and was hoof-tastic McAuley 6 - Also solid enough, but a few has to give up the hoofing Stearman 4 - Looked like he'd forgotten how to mark for most of the match Mattock 6 - Looked confident on the ball most times, though still a few mistakes. Chambers 6 - Did alright, but isn't a centre mid King 7 - Looked alright, but looked knackered for the last 25 Kishishev 7 - Ran his arse off and won a lot of 50/50's Fryatt 6 - Did well, but looked a little off the pace Hume 8 - The tireless worker, looked more dangerous as an attacking midfielder for the last 15 Cort 7 - Came on and combined well, very nearly bagged. Campbell 5 - After the close header from a corner he didn't really seem to try. Lazy Git Megson 6 - The team looks a little more settled with each other and the last 15 minutes looked like he was going for the win, but still far too defensive.
Wycombe Fox Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Blaise Bailey etc : 8 - Relatively entertaining, some nice arguing in the 2nd half!Phube: 9 - Consistently good as always! lcfc_jme: 8 - Apart from some shocking decisions good game all around Molston Canadian(?): 6 - Late entry, and faded at the end... interesting take on Kudos! MPH: 7 - Solid Jack: 5 - Some forgetfulness but good for being plunged in at the last miute SUAS: 6 - Very argumentative (esp. with BBF III) Flynny: 4 - Flitted in and out of the game, needs to concentrate The rest: 7 - Good effort all around. The Team - poo... lack of entertainment! If these ratings are based upon the contributions to 'Live Chat' then **** off back to 'Live Chat' to post your ratings! Some of us stayed on the 'Match Thread' (but only because I've got some sh*t going down with bloody Java Runtime Environmnent!)
Raj Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 I personally thought mattock played Ok. Most of the players were a 5/6 Chambers was shit! But id not like hammering players so i'd still give him a 5....but he was shit! Fulop played well ....but chambers was shit!
Shroomjuice Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 fulop 7 (great 1 handed save in 1st half)stearman 6 ngotty 7 kisnorbo 6 mcauley 6 mattock 6 chambers 5 king 5 ( very tough debut against olifinjana and lost his battle but did ok, keep him in squad ) kishishev 5 fryatt 4 (shocking performance ) hume 6 dj 4 cort 4 how bad must hellings be if he couldnt make tonights squad mmm fryatt shocking, the only player to force thier keeper into any sort of save. Not been on this forum long but starting to see there is alot of jokers on here.
Shroomjuice Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 How did Chambers get on? SHITE. Not his fault though he just isnt a midfielder
Simi Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Thrach put a bet on King to score first and Leicester to win 2-0. Fact.
Sparky Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 mmm fryatt shocking, the only player to force thier keeper into any sort of save. Not been on this forum long but starting to see there is alot of jokers on here. yeah quality forward play , terrible touch kept bouncing off him, missed a easy volley from 8 yards in the 1st half and tryed a 30 yarder that went in to row z with hume far better placed in the 2nd half , then dragged off , top class from the boy , think its u that needs to wake up
filbertway Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 I think my points explain my view, I don't have to spend time justifying them I've already wasted the evening watching 2 teams boring me to death. ok then Fulop - 8 Stearman - 4 N Gotty - 8 McAuley - 7 Kisnorbo - 7 Mattock - 6 Chambers -5 King - 6 Kish - 6 Fryatt - 6 Hume - 6 Cort - 7 DJ - 5
Thracian Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 It is hard to judge based on what I'd want and ask or what Megson clearly wants. But as it's his team and as you asked: Fulop 8 (The guy's a rock. More quality saves, safe handling, made his goalkeeping look simple. Kicking his only fault again) Stearman 7.5 (Played his part in a clean sheet against a difficult side and was trying to inspire attacks right til the end. Tireless.) McAuley 7 (Sound as ever). N'Gotty 8 (Such a vital figure. Broke up so many attacks. Pity about some of his passing.). Kisnorbo 6 (Defensively okay. Distribution as usual. Another who seems so one-footed). Mattock 6.5 (Drew the short straw and stuck to it. Almost every Championship defender would have trouble against Kightly and on three or four occasions he was left for dead. But he did good things too and tried so hard to make a difference in attack. Had he really committed at the end he might have got onto Stearman's final cross. Wasn't always comfortable but he too played his part in the clean sheet). Chambers 4 (Did some good things then invariably gave the ball away or got caught in possession. Not the answer in that role). Kishishev 5 (Just chugged around but never really threatened to make anything happen). King 6.5 (Decent debut as emphasised by his completing 90 minutes. Passed the ball quickly and mostly accurately along the ground. But used in such a restricted role by Megson that it was a shame. It meant that instead of two defensive and one attacking midfielder we had three holding players. Only when Kish went off and Hume dropped back did we look at all threatening and did King benefit from having runners to compliment his game. The extent of his restriction and Megson's clear instructions for him to keep things solid and simple was emphasised by his having no shots and rarely approaching the attacking penalty area. King, given free rein has lots of shots and forever attacks the box). Hume 5.5 (Largely ineffective until he dropped into midfield. Chasing lost causes is costing him far too much energy and blunting his sharpness for the job that's really needed. He takes on far more than his fair share). Fryatt 6.5 (What do you say. Easily our most dangerous attacker. Conjured one excellent chance and shot that was saved low down but should have scored in the opening minutes. Stayed involved though and had some good touches from limited service). Subs: Cort 5.5 (We were far more dangerous when he came on and Hume went back. Not very dangerous mind. But more so. Partyly because we had more people going forward and trying to force a win.) Campbell 5.5. (Again threatened and had a wonderful opportunity to win the game with a close range header than he sent straight at the keeper. Like so many of our players he was constantly slipping or falling over. God knows what he was wearing for studs) Megson 7.5 (Accepting his mindset I thought Megson today became our first manager for years to pick arguably our strongest available team. He showed a more positive attitude in putting Cort on and driving the full-backs forward with King/Hume trying to supplement but it was asking a lot after all the defending they'd done and the recent matches. We simply lacked individual class a la Kightly, we lacked pace and too often we had insufficient players forward when we attacked).
potter3 Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Was it just me who thought Hume was poor tonight? unsure.gif I dunno about today but he's not been great in many games recently
filbertway Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Was it just me who thought Hume was poor tonight? He was jsut average I thought, I mean he's got to deal with long balls all the time, when he did get the ball to feet he didn't do much he was just average. Good free kick for DJ's header though.
Shroomjuice Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Thrach put a bet on King to score first and Leicester to win 2-0. Fact. More fool him. Have no idea who this Thrac guy is but have read alot of threads. He seems to have a soft spot for our youth players in a sad Micheal Jackson sort of way. Maybe he should invite them all round to his for a sleepover. He rants on and on and on. Yet nearly everything he the bloke says is absolute Sh$t. Nothing against you thrac dont know who you are but after watching that shower of shit for the last 3 seasons, and your comments of hope with Andy King, its just dissapoints me even more if he is the cream of the crop of our acdemy.
He's not bald Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 NO??They deserve to get booed. The more booing the better!!! Too right..they were well supported throughout the match considering the shite performance...we are going backwards..when will this nightmare end?
davieG Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 ok thenFulop - 8 Stearman - 4 N Gotty - 8 McAuley - 7 Kisnorbo - 7 Mattock - 6 Chambers -5 King - 6 Kish - 6 Fryatt - 6 Hume - 6 Cort - 7 DJ - 5 Perhaps you'd like to explain 8 for N'Gotty who must have given the ball away 7/8 times granted he did win it first to enable him to do so See we all see the game differently, look at all the scores there are many many wide apart marks. I personally thought Stearman had a solid game amongst what was mostly dross and I'll stand by that. I also thought Hume sweated blood for us but I see someone gave him a 4. Perhap you'd like some of those to explain their scores Just a thought.
