Aussie Foxes thread

Currently in Sydney.. Anyone here watching any of the next two games out anywhere? Only been here for a few days so not sure where to watch them. There's a 24 hour casino near me so if there aren't many more options I can always watch it there. But do any of you guys ever meet up and watch us?

I probably won't get to the next three but from 3rd April onwards it has to be game on - 1030pm Sunday night!

I've previously watched upstairs in the PBH.  The casino would probably be a better bet; bigger screens though a bit soulless?  But we might not all get in the PBH!

Anyone interested get on this thread and let's make it happen.

Fearless....

Think I'll be making the early trip to The Star to watch the match in the morning. Anyone been before?

I made the effort once, but they had the audio turned off in favour of a boxing match on one of the other screens

Pyrmont Bridge Hotel round the corner is probably a better bet

ATT: Melbourne/ Victorian foxes!

If it comes down to it in a few weeks and we could take the title in a particular match I think it would be great if we had a venue arranged to go to and watch it en masse. would be better then loads of single fans watching it at home alone!  I would love to travel up to Melbourne to be part of it.

Was just thinking this. Do we have a Melbourne Foxes Facebook page? Think its time we get something together, would be great!

I've put this one together for a Leicester City Melbourne Supporters Facebook page if i can rally enough Melbourne supporters together.

The flag, which also features on the City of Melbourne's flag features the coat of arms, with the bull, whale, ship and the fleece hanging from a red ring as you see on the flag.

On the right of the flag it says "Vires acquirit eundo" which means "she gathers strength as she goes", much like the Club that is our Leicester City, which is the City of Melbourne's motto.

Here is the original Melbourne flag:

And here's the flag i've put together, obviously not the proper dimensions yet.

I would love to get a group of Melbourne Foxes together if we don't already have one. A bit hard to work that out at this stage.

If anyone knows any Melbourne Foxes, or if you are one that would like to establish a Melbourne Supporters Club, pm me please. I'm curious as to whether or not we do already have one.

I just arrived in Sydney and will be here at the weekend. How is it best to watch the Southampton game, given that it is late on Sunday evening? Will it be on one of the Aussie sports channels?

Foxtel in Oz have every game covered so if youve got a hotel or mate with foxtel your safe... otherwise just check the local pubs as most show it.

Illusion and Ozleicester, I am going to go to the Star City casino in Pyrmont with my mate on Sunday night so come and join us.  There is a big sports bar with loads of screens and I will check that it is playing there and report back tomorrow.

Check this thread for further details.  Hopefully there will be a few City fans there.  Much better than watching it at home!

Cheers, Steve

I'd love to do something for Sunday's game if possible? I leave Melbourne in 3 weeks due to visa running out etc and haven't had a chance to see a Leicester game with any other foxes fans...think it's possible to get a group together? Was planning on going to watch the AFL at MCG in the afternoon so could even make a day of it if its not too late to organise?

Would normally be up for it but live a fair bit out of Melbourne and going to head in to work early on Monday. Got to stay in my bosses good books as she has been kind enough to let me head to Leicester for a couple of weeks next month

Sorry but it reminds me of the Melbroune City logo far too much. Can't be reminded about that lot when thinking of the foxes.

Melbourne foxes - think we start planning for sat 7 May vs Everton as a possible night / morning to catch up celebrate the season .

It's the late game so we may need to be at a venue in Melbourne to watch it live .

Any thoughts

Would definitely be up for that. Thinking about heading into the city this Sunday night to watch the Sunderland game with some mates as they wanted to watch the Spurs United game after. Anyone know if the dickens would be open on a Sunday? They normally do the Saturday night kick offs.
