Martin Allen...

Martin Allen was a pundit on Sky Sports this afternoon for the MK Dons Vs Lincoln City match. He was asked about his time at Leicester and said he had no regrets and enjoyed his short term there. He's been gone a while now from you guys. Now the dust's settled, do you feel like you're missing him at all?

We're now playing the best football we've ever played and are continuously getting emphatic and convincing wins. We got wins last season but they were usually by the seat of our pants. It's also got to be said that the place seems a happier camp and you can see that the players are enjoying their game more now. So from out point of view, apart from his legacy of leaving us some top signings, on a day to day basis we're not missing him at all (thankfully).

We got a great win today. Ince really seems to know what he's doing. There were times under Allen when we'd have a slender lead and he'd bring on more attacking players and we'd end up losing. There's no weird and wacky decisions now.

Slight change of subject - apparently someone died at our ground today. A bloke had a heart attack at the turnstiles and then knocked his head badly going down.

That would explain the "problem with the turnstiles" that delayed kick off?

That was the reason why i'm afraid. It was the exact Gate 5 turnstiles that we'd used only moments earlier. Initially they were reporting that it was a fault with the turnstiles system, which are bar code reader style like at Arsenal or the London Underground.

and yet your still on here posting about him ...

I think most people have got over Pol Pot and Idi Amin but it doesn't stop people discussing them. Sorry Allen, I didn't me to rope you in with that sort. :)

Read my first post and i'm just asking for reactions from you guys since he left.

dissapointed he left in the way he did, miss his colourful character, but we cant dwell on the past. Nearly all the people upset at Allen moving on ( like me) Now accept we need to get behind Megson as its of no benefit to anyone at all to live in the past. Ultimately, for us, its about Leicester more than any one person.

" We love you Leicester, we do!"

Very disappointed in his departure, as i have said before, but what's done is done i'm afraid.

I'm behind Megson, not 100%, but starting to show little support in him. :)

I've been keeping an eye out but am I right in saying that Megson's started to get a few positive results for you?

Any indications of what his all important relationship with the chairman is like? At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what your record is like, once you fall out with the chairman you're on borrowed time. Just look at Mourinho.

it was a rocking ship he needed to steady. he made the option to plug the gaps at back first, which appears to be successful if wrather frustrating to watch. he says during this international break he will be working on the attacking side of things which alot of us are very happy about- we may have the most succesful defence in the division, but it hasnt been the prettiest to watch.

Considering how long he has been out of work, i highly doubt he will be doing anything against what MM wants....

Who ever said "no one likes a yes man"?

We have no choice but to move on as football fans but the MA departure was hardly one that needed to be mourned, its not like he was MON and had actually had success at the club unless you want to count one league win as success lol
