Manwell Pablo Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Mansfield, Dire health situation. Probabley not the best time to mention that my Girlfriends Dad is the NHS director of finance for the Mansfield district. Cleary he's doing a great job. Got a text message from one of my mates yesterday, he's a painter and he's doing some work up in Mansfield. It read "Just been pelted with stones by a group of Chavy locals for standing here minding my own business, Twats, Mansfields a shit hole" They're bang on about Manchester as well. Weather, horrible, Mancs horrible, Manchester United, horrible.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 How the f**k is Luton not in the worst 20?!
Geo V Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 No surprise to see a few London links in the worst category . Islington is a bit of a shite hole but to be honest, a long part of it is my favourite place to go out for night out! There is a long stretch which must be a couple of miles full of pubs, the odd club, cinema screens playing older classic films and god knows how many different restaurants!

I would never pay, unless of course in Amsterdam No mate, no ladies of the night as far as I am aware but then again Im not looking for them. One day when you decide to get down to London for a City game we`ll link up and I`ll show you the place I mean. Pubs and restaurants, what more could you want. BTW this isnt a date.

MiddlesbroughSmog, crime, binge drinking - Boro's got them all in excess 6. North East Lincolnshire Grimsby's name says it all 11. Blackpool Fun for tourists, but a truly awful place to live 12. Hackney Last year's loser sees much improvement 1 - not a surprise. 6 - 11 - again, not a surprise... touristy places often are shit to live in. Full of bloody tourists. 12 - You only need to watch the Top Gear episode where they try to destroy a Toyota Hi-lux diesel truck to know that Hackney's a shithole. I wonder if the "improvement" they speak of is the demolition of those high-rises... complete with hi-lux perched on top of one of them.
