The Stig Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 GOOD NEWS - BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra are now doing a Championship game every week, starting this weekend with Wolves V Charlton and then Coventry V Wolves. This means that on the occasional game we can escape Barber (I actually like him but there we go) BAD NEWS - We probably won't be on often and 5 Live S.E is a Digical, D.A.B, t'Internet station only so its not all that accessable. Better than nothing I suppose and it gives the league some extra coverage.

Koke Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 This may sound stupid, but I've always wondered one thing. The commentary box at the Walkers' is at the West Stand and when you view the game on telly we see it from the East Stand. Doesn't this confuse the commentators when they are looking at their screens? I always thought the commentary box and the camera stand should be in the same stand. And yeah Baber is a tit.
Webbo Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 I don't dislike him. He's not brilliant but what do you expect at Radio Leicester?

Scow Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 At least he's never confused Andy Impey and James Scowcroft in his commentary. But yeah, he is shite.
Durnerz Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 At least he's never confused Andy Impey and James Scowcroft in his commentary. But yeah, he is shite. He confused Deon Burton and Dion Dublin, neither of whom were playing at the time!
MC Prussian Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 At least he's never confused Andy Impey and James Scowcroft in his commentary. But yeah, he is shite. He usually performs a tea & cake party at each game he comments on, with his back turned towards the pitch, usually rambling on about something that has nothing to do with anything remotely related to football. Jon Barber'd make a smashing son-in-law. Luckily enough, I'm not homosexually inclined.

Hardly, they're either gonna be watching the pitch or the tv, so either way they'll be able to commentate.

We have been interviewed in the commentary positions & they don't have TV's where they sit. Do seem to have at some away grounds, while incidents can bew viewed on TV's inside the ground at half time
ASH17LCFC Posted 18 October 2007 Posted 18 October 2007 Do the Foxestrust still get to sit in the posh seats and get 2 free tickets ?
