OriginalRobboFOX Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 Megson reckons Stearman, McAuley and Fryatt will all be fit but Mattock and King are both out. Why are people so obsessed with Kaebi, none of you are in a better position than megs/tags to make a decision on him. If he was/is fit and is half the player you all make him out to be then he'd be playing week in week out.... Trust Megs' judgement on this one....
Sods Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 I love how fans are so easily persuaded by others, kaebi can run fast get him in the team, come on its getting beyond the joke now, both managers havent started the lad this might come to a simple reason that he isn't good enough. Sorry to tell you. Kaebi is not going to be like ronaldo, if he got his chance tomorro would you he still have the same effect after being skinned by Gary Naysmith. Stearmans doing alright at the moment keep him there.

maddog Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 I really can't see Kaebi playing, so unless he's injured again looks like he's been dropped from the reserves now too.

DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 22 October 2007 Posted 22 October 2007 FulopChambers McAuley Kisnorbo N'Gotty Sheehan Clemence Wesolowski Newton DJ Campbell Fryatt ^ I'd go that one Defensive duo Gareth McAuley and Richard Stearman are slight doubts for the visit of the Blades.Canada international Hume was controversially sent off for two bookable offences during the goalless stalemate at S****horpe. He must serve a one-match ban so Foxes boss Gary Megson will choose between Carl Cort and DJ Campbell to partner Matty Fryatt in attack. McAuley sustained a knock on the knee at Glanford Park, while Stearman is nursing an ankle problem, but it is hoped that both players will be fit to face the Blades. Portuguese winger Julio Marco Ferreira could be included in the squad after overcoming his hamstring problems, but Elvis Hammond (ankle) and Hossein Kaebi (back) remain sidelined. http://www.teamtalk.com/football/preview/0...2818181,00.html
Thracian Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Stearman was awful against Scun. Totally useless. He should be dropped totally for this game. Goals against, none in three. And you want to play Kaebi? Brave man.

Aeropars Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Kaebi should at least be on the bench.. In answer to the question about why people are obsessed: Its simple, he has been a promising young player in WORLD football. Not just in Iran. Being dubbed one of the bightest young players in the world should really ensure he's given a chance. He simply has to be better than anyone we have already in that position.

Here we go again! He doesn't - and if he was he'd have shown it in the chances he's already had.

He seems to be injured. It's one thing being excited about a player who you think should be in our team and another getting all hot and bothered over the exclusion of a player who isn't fully fit. He hasn't played any football for a few weeks now and Teamtalk are saying he has an injury so won't be considered tonight.
Aeropars Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Here we go again! He doesn't - and if he was he'd have shown it in the chances he's already had. Matter of opnion pal. He's not been dubbed a hot prospect by world media because he sucks donkey schlong.
Bluefoxtim Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 The fact is 85% of fans desperately want to see him given a chance. If Megson thinks he is sh*te, why not play him and if he is, then the fans will get off Megson's back about the situation. If he plays well...then great. Win win situation.

If he plays well...then great. Win win situation. Football doesn't work like that, hence why we never saw any youth team players under Rob Kelly last season and why Louis Dodds has never got a chance. I'm not sure I fully understand the reasons but that's the reality.

Simi Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 The chanting of Fryatt's name seemed to work against Stoke...and look what happened. True. But I'm sure that Megson knew what Fryatt was capable of in this division having played for us before. So it is a little different.

brookfox Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Fulop N'Gotty - McAuley - Kisnorbo Chambers - Weso - Newton - Clemence - Mattock Campbell - John At least it's got a bit of pace about the team! Not enamered about having Newton in there at the top of a midfield 3, but I've earmarked that position for Hume on his return.
