Blue Fox Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 From Os Taggart talking: Gareth McAuley and Richard Stearman picked up knocks during the game, and the Foxes will now face and anxious wait to find out the fitness of their squad ahead of Tuesday night's Championship clash against Sheffield United at the Walkers Stadium.

Geo V Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 As ridiculous as this sounds , playing without Hume may actually do us a favour. As decent a striker as he is I am hoping he`ll let DJ loose and play the ball on the ground. I dont think DJ has been so bad where he shouldnt have got a proper run in the side. I think he`ll change the system at home though back to 442 FULOPSTEARMAN - McAULEY - KISNORBO - MATTOCKCHAMBERS - WESO - CLEMENCE - SHEEHANDJ - FRYATT
Dames Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 We'll play with 8 defenders 1 midfielder and 1 attacker. We will go on to lose 2-0.
Geo V Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 We'll play with 8 defenders 1 midfielder and 1 attacker. We will go on to lose 2-0. I dont know about losing to them as they are not in form at all. On SS today when they went to the game the fans were shouting "Robson Out". We need to attack them and take advantage of their dodgy confidence.

Geo V Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 Like that would happen... GM cannot playing 532 at home. It didnt work against Wolves and he needs to be able to be good enough to change formation for the home matches. Lets hope Milan gets in his ear about entertaining the home fans because we dont create enough chances these days.
Simon Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 The midfield should surely be blatantly obvious if all are fit, no? Fulop Kisnorbo N'Gotty McAuley Chambers Weso Clemence King Mattock Fryatt Campbell Subs: Kaebi, Stearman, Ferreira, Cort, Hendo
harpendenfox Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 The midfield should surely be blatantly obvious if all are fit, no?Fulop Kisnorbo N'Gotty McAuley Chambers Weso Clemence King Mattock Fryatt Campbell Subs: Kaebi, Stearman, Ferreira, Cort, Hendo I think that's about right with what we've got. Ideally we'd have a pacy outlet on one of the wings. Someone to whom the defence can make a pass, and who can then run to the byline and pull it back. Traditional football if you like. That man should be Newton, bombing up the right, but he just doesn't seem to have the heart from what I've seen. With the defence looking so solid perhaps we could afford to throw in a maverick like Ferreira, bit it doesn't frankly sound like anyone who has seen him playing for the reserves thinks he's that good. I do agree thaty Chambers is a better player than Stearman, and deserves a go at right wing back, which is I think his preferred position.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 I dont think DJ has been so bad where he shouldnt have got a proper run in the side. I also think that DJ attracts alot of undeserved criticism. Sure, he's not been brilliant, but he's been better than most. I also think that itS time Kaabi started on Tuesday.

Joe. Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 FulopN Gotty Kisnorbo McAuley Chambers Mattock Weso Clemence King Campbell Fryatt Yeah I think that's about right, wouldn't really complain with that side. Although for some reason I get the feeling Cort might start...
Jimmy Posted 21 October 2007 Author Posted 21 October 2007 why are so many people sdaying drop stearman and play chambers at RWB, chambers is LESS offensive then Stearman
Joe. Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 why are so many people sdaying drop stearman and play chambers at RWB, chambers is LESS offensive then Stearman Whaaaaat? Chambers' primary position is right wing back!
Simon Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 why are so many people sdaying drop stearman and play chambers at RWB, chambers is LESS offensive then Stearman You're surely kidding... Were you not at the Blackpool game before he went off injured? His play in central midfield is not reflective of the player he could be at RWB, not by a long shot.

Bryn Posted 21 October 2007 Posted 21 October 2007 Chambers rwb and Weso in for chambers? Sounds like the most logical option. Hopefully King will be fit and will come in for Newton as well. Fulop McAuley* N'Gotty KisnorboStearman**----------------------------------SheehanChambers** Wesolowski** ClemenceFryatt Campbell *Doubtful - Kenton in for McAuley if out **Stearman doubtful - Chambers replaces Stearman, Wesolowski replaces Chambers, King replaces Wesolowski I imagine that is what Megson will go for.
