Thracian Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Fulop 9 (Little to do but he didn't offer Scunny a sniff. Total master in the air and a massive source of confidence). Stearman 6.5 (Never troubled. Played his part in another clean sheet. Little impact otherwise) McAuley 7 (Solid as usual in an accomplished defeensive display) N'Gotty 7 (Steady and reliable) Kisnorbo 8 (Never gave anyone an inch and scofred a perfectly good goal which should have won the match) Sheehan 7.5 (Covered well conjured the perfect ball for what should have been the winner). Newton 5 (Little moments but they were few and far between. Not impressed). Clemence 5.5 (Never especially influential) Chambers 5.5 (Huffed and puffed but little remains in the memory) Hume 5 (Sent off. Had little effect for all his effort. Megson should have subbed him cos it was obvious the ref was after him) Fryatt 5 (Missed a golden opportunity to win the match. Otherwise ineffectual). Subs: Campbell and Weso (inconsequential) Megson 7 (Organised and deserved the spoils although his approach is tortuous) Entertainment value 3 (being generous)
Wooly Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Fulop 9 - Amazing, unfortunately must be far too late for him to be close to our price range to sign him perm? Stearman 5 - Offers little going forward, wasn't really tested at the back. Sheehan 4 - Awful, again. "But got an assist!!!!!!!!" McAuley 7 - Rock. N'Gotty 7 - Rock. Kisnorbo 8 - Rock + 1 for the 'goal' Newton 5 - Wasteful. Clemence 6 - One of his poorer games, but still offers that composure we need. Chambers 6 - Did his best, covers so much ground - dying to see him played in his proper position. Hume 5 - Huffed, Puffed - will moan about the sending off of course as we all will, BUT to be fair he wasn't booked for a ridiculous late challenge early doors. Fryatt 4 - Completely ineffective and didn't finish the easiest chance he will ever have; a joke. Megson 9 - Perfect game plan, executed to perfection aside from being cheated by Fryatt's ineptitude and a linesman wanting to get some TV time.
Durnerz Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Fulop 8 - Iffy distribution at times but overall solid on the crosses and shot stopping. N'Gotty 8 - Solid Mcauley 8 - Solid Kisnorbo 8 - Solid and should have had a goal. Stearman 6 - More composure needed but held his own and shook off an injury. Clemence 7 - Composed and classy in possession, did his holding role very well. Chambers 6 - Made some important tackles and interceptions but lacked the cutting edge going forward. Newton 5 - Lost the ball far too often and lacked awareness. Occasional moments in which he looked promising but to no avail. Sheehan 6 - Decent delivery from the dead balls and held his side well, improving on closing down the winger. Hume 5 - Looked like an accident waiting to happen but shouldnt have been sent off, some classy touches but not at the races today. Fryatt 4 - Piss poor, had one easy chance and wasted it, offered nothing.

Little impact otherwise) McAuley 7 (Solid as usual in an accomplished defeensive display) N'Gotty 7 (Steady and reliable) Kisnorbo 8 (Never gave anyone an inch and scored a perfectly good goal) Sheehan 6.5 (Got involved but was rather poor). Newton 5 (Go on a diet. So poor.). Clemence 5.5 (Didn't see him in the 2nd half) Chambers 5.5 (Huffed and puffed but little remains in the memory) Hume 5 (Tried but poor. Megson should have subbed him cos it was obvious the ref was after him & the S****horpe players were winding him up) Fryatt 7 (Hard working but missed a sitter.). Subs: Campbell and Weso (inconsequential) Megson 7.5 (Organised and deserved the spoils although his approach is tortuous, 0.5 for his swearing.) Entertainment value 0 (being generous)

ASH17LCFC Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Fulop 7 - Not great kicking but good catching Stearman 4 - Rubbish, not good enough and offers nothing going forward McAuley 6 - Did ok but nearly set up Patterson. N'Gotty 6 - Was ok but keep hoofing it up Kisnorbo 9 - Kissa was solid today and wanted the ball and scored a good goal Sheehan 7- Got forward and was pretty steady Newton 2 - Loses the ball and can't take no fooker on and shite passing Clemence 6 - Good work in the middle but didnt make any killer passes Chambers 6 - Was ok but never going to win us a game Hume 4 - Idiot, everyone knew it was gonna happen but he was wreckless Fryatt 5- Didn't look like he was there today ... untill he missed a 1 on 1.
lee7 Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Fulop 9- good performance Stearman 6 - was ok McAuley 8 - solid N'Gotty 8 - solid Kisnorbo 9 - solid and scored a good goal but was ruled offside Sheehan 4- crap Newton 4 - crap Clemence 7 - good tackling and did some good passes Chambers 6 - good tackling Hume 5 - gave the ball away a lot and holds on to it for to long Fryatt 6- tried hard
RoyFox Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Fulop 8 - excellent, commanding, great on crosses Stearman 4 - Pathetic, he is not quick enough and CANNOT play wingback - not promotion material McAuley 7 - Good in the air, nice positioning - comfortable N'Gotty 7 - solid, kept it simple Kisnorbo 8 - good game, well taken goal MOM Sheehan 6 - Thracian stop brown nosing this guy, lacks pace to cut it - he can cross but he needs space and luck, which you don't get much in this league Newton 5 - counting his days to retirement, getting paid for dribbling then losing the ball easily Clemence 6.5 - did nothing wrong but he had no outlet as Newton is poor and Stearman/Sheehan can't run Chambers 5.5 - SO needs to play right wing back, good engine good pace - please Gary play hm where he is best Hume 6 - good running but on the right side of the attack he had newton and bloody stearman to supply, hence zero service. Unlucky to get sent off Fryatt 6 - worked hard but never had a midfield behind him to make good through balls which he thrives on
Joe. Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Fulop 8- Dealt with crosses perfectly, but some poor-ish distribution N'Gotty 7.5- Solid McAuley 7.5- Solid Kisnorbo 8.5- Wrongfully denied of a goal () and was generally solid Stearman 5- WHYYYYYY? Chambers 6- Battled well, didn't offer much else. Clemence- 6.5- Didn't really see much of him to be quite honest. Newton 5- Bollocks. Sheehan 5- Bollocks. Hume 5.5- Battled well once again, got wound up far too easily though and got his red card. Fryatt 6- Should have scored and won us the game.
Joe. Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Sheehan 7.5 (Covered well conjured the perfect ball for what should have been the winner). You have got to be taking the piss sorry.
RoyFox Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 You have got to be taking the piss sorry. Agree with this Thracian you are delusional, why bother hoping Sheehan is any good??? - he can't dribble, distribution is suspect - just having a left cross is not good enough. HE IS NOT GUPPY, guppy had the ability to make a yard of space and whip it in quickly - this guy can't do that
Mark Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Give it a rest guys, it's all been said before. Sheehan will end up where he ends up, all we can do is hope he makes it with us for the clubs benefit, if he's not good enough he won't last.
ASH17LCFC Posted 20 October 2007 Posted 20 October 2007 Stearman is worst people !!! Sheenan is better gettin g forward and can cross a ball. What does Stearman do ? Fooking useless plank who loses his marker and can't control a ball either. If your gonna give it out to Sheenan people, please can we give it out to Stearman aswell.

Ratings from someone that went to the match Fulop - 8 - So many crosses, so many catches. He really does seem to have a bond with the Leicester fans. Stearman - 6 - Wasteful at times, but attempted to go forward. Sheehan - 6 - Pretty much the same as above. N Gotty - 7.5 - Solid Kisnorbo - 7 - Still holds the attacker like it's his girlfriend. McAuley - 7.5 - Solid Newton - 6 - Clemence - 6.5 Chambers - 6 Fryatt - 6 Hume - 6.5 - Harshly done by from a referee that doesn't understand football.

Agree Stearman is a shocker, he can't run- I reckon I could beat him in a 20 yard dash and I weigh 15 stone. Out the two Stearman is worse, but they are both shi-te

He deserved to go, if you watch the whole highlights, then you'll see it. A mad man who was asking to be sent off and i bet every person watching that today on tv, was saying the same thing ... Bet he gets sent off in a min.

People are just responding to Thracian's ratings, isnt that allowed?? I respect most of what Thrac has to say but totally disagree on 7.5 for Sheehan. Unless the Sky cameras didnt do his performance justice i though he looked totally innefective, if being able to put a decent ball in alone makes you a good player then there's probably hope for all of us to make it!! He's rubbish IMO, no doubt at all in my mind wether he's good enough or not, definately NOT for me, that goes for Stearman too, possibly the worst full backs ive seen at the club since Tony Spearing and John Curtis.
