Could'nt be bothered to give ratings because none of them warrant any. So instead i decided to make the strongest side i could when everyones fully fit. It dont look half bad to me.

So put Kaebi in the team and everything will be better.

So there is no changes anywhere else?

Ratings for the team that played the majority of the game:

Fulop 6- Couldn't do anything about the goal, not a lot else to do.

Stearman 3- ****ing useless.

N'Gotty 6- Didn't really notice him, pretty solid.

Kisnorbo 6- See N'Gotty

McAuley 4- Thought he was very poor tonight, distribution terrible.

Sheehan 6.5- Looked fairly decent going forward and didn't do a lot wrong in my eyes

Chambers 6- Looked good defensively, but is never going to offer a lot going forward.

Weso 6.5- Worked the whole game, got some good tackles in. He was one of the only ones looking to do something with the ball.

Newton 3- What an utter joke this player is. Get rid now.

Fryatt 5- Couldn't get any service to be fair, but didn't show much movement.

John 5- Like Fryatt, again, he received next to no service.

Agree with that team, except i'd have Mattock in for Sheehan........Didn't want to even try to run at their right back tonight.

Nobody seems to like Newton, he was the only player actually trying to run forward with the ball.

I'm not sure Newton managed to control it once to manage a run with the ball. Shocking performance for someone who has played in the Premiership. He is supposed to be a winger but i have never seen him cross the ball.

Fvck me. I really wish you kids would grow up. KAEBI IS NOT A SAVIOUR! He's about Levi's height and half his weight. He made one appearance where he looked slightly lost - a few decent touches, bit of pace but that was about it. By all accounts, he's had some poor games in the reserves. Even his famous YouTube video only shows a couple of average runs and the odd slide tackle. He might be good, but there's no way anyone can put him in our "best team" - there is no rational argument for it. Chambers looked good at right-back at the start of the season, he is the only player apart from Stearman that you can really consider for the role.

That was essentially our team tonight. If you thought that didn't look half bad, I would suggest you are in a small minority.

Fulop 6

Stearman 4- Probably Shefiield Utd's highest number of successful passes.

McAuley 5- Passing and keeping pissesion of the ball was shite. Average defensively

Kisnorbo 5- Never really noticed him.

N' Gotty 6- Some good tackles.

Sheehan 5- some decent crosses but would never take the bleeders on.

Wesolowski 6.5-Showed some urgency from midfield to get forward and actually come TO the ball.

Chambers 6- He atleast string the pass count up a little. Used his head.

Clemence N/A

Fryatt 4- he was playing? :o

DJ 5- Didnt really do much before going off injured.

Subs:

Newton 2- Possibly the worst performance in a City shirt ive ever seen.

Porter 5- Speedy and promising. Never really got much of the ball though.

John 6- Some intelligent touches. Look a little tired but that is expected. One of the few plusses of tonight.

I despair after reading that lot.

Do you people know what you want?

Sheehan was the one class player on the park tonight not counting the goalkeeper and only four players in tonight's side deserved to be rated as first team standard:- Fulop, Kisnorbo, Wesolowski and Sheehan.

First of all don't blame him for the goal. He blocked the first shot and the ball deflected to the right where Newton or whoever was responsible failed to pick up the secondary man. Sheehan had done his job.

In open play he misplaced a couple ofheaders but otherwise was accuracy itself and I have rarely seen a left back spend so mucb time in the attacking half linking with Weso in midfield, playing low passes to feet and high crosses to various parts of the penalty box.

Truth was we never had anyone who was ever going to take advantage, no height in the box, not pace, no guile, no nothing. Whatever he did was never going to work.

Ratings:

Fulop 7 (Could easily have been lobbed for a second goal. Good but no t quite at his best).

Stearman 2 (Worst I have ever seen him play in a City shirt. Simply couldn't pass or retain control of the ball)

Sheehan 7 (Rarely wasted a pass, got into attacking areas and tried everything he knew to force a breakthrough.)

McAuley 5 (Second worst performance of his. Tried to play beyond his capabilities instead of keeping it fast and simple)

N'Gotty 6 (Seriously missed when he went off.)

Kisnorbo 6.5 (Started well. Found Sheehan ever available and therefore didn't waste possession so much. A bnit more sloppy later on).

Chambers 6 (Defensively sound with some good blocks. Nothing creative though)

Clemence 4 (Anonymous and rarely near the penalty area until he went off injured.)

Wesolowski 6.5 (Linked well with Sheehan and, although obviouusly short of match fitness still looked fairly positive and efficient)

Campbell 3 (Injured and insignificant)

Fryatt 4 (Too slow, ball control indifferent. Just never going to be a 15 goals a season Championship striker)

Subs: Porter 5.5 (No noticeable effect but instilled a bit or urgency)

John 3 (On tonight's performance I can understand why he was named after a Kazzi)

Newton 3 (What's he for? Can never deliver a final pass and has lost any ability he had to take people on and make things happen)

Megson: 3 (Picked pretty well the strongest side apart from Chambers but failed to galvanise them into an attacking force. The movement up front was diabolical and seven players seriously underperformed. No wonder they chanted Megson for Bolton)

Entertainment 2 (No goals at home again, and no points. Not even any serious shots. People leaving 15/18 minutes from the end)

Fulop - 6

Stearman - 0 (as if his performance wasn't dire enough, his alleged website comments are really winding me up. He should really be sent to work with the poison dwarf)

McAuley - 5

Kisnorbo - 6

N'Gotty - 6

Sheehan - 6

Wesolowski - 7* (only one who gave a monkey's in the second half)

Lovechild - 4 (any manager with a brain cell would have switched him with Stearman)

Clemence - 5

Fryatt - 4

Campbell - 4

Newton - 2

John - 5 (looked like a poor man's MDV :o:o:( )

Porter - 4

Megson - - 10. He really doesn't want to be here, does he?

Please, Mandaric, even if you do nothing else for our club, put him out of his and our misery!

:o Behave. He showed a couple of decent touches and flashes of pace. Something De vries certainly doesn't have. All this when he's rushed into the team hours before kick-off!? fck sake.

What the hell are you on? Sheehan was far from the worst performer last night.

In fact he was our ONLY creative player, as he was against Scunny and (so I was told) against Wednesday.

The vendetta against him has to stop, not least because there are no ready alternatives in his position.

Thought we looked better down the left when Porter came on.At least he tried to take their right back on.......Sheehan might do a load of pases back and sideways but put another shirt other than blue in front of him and he stops.

Whatever the excuses, his contribution was very disappointing, particularly in response to pre-match hype. In fact, after half-time it was virtually negligible.

We wouldn't tolerate that performance from MDV or Cort, and we shouldn't from him either.

I know i over rated Stearman. But that takes the piss. I countes at least 10 times when he wasted the balll.

For a bloke faced with so little movement up front and who who had Wesolowski as his main get out ball he did remarkably well to generally vary his approach and to consistently find a man.

The fact that whoever he passed to invariably lost contol is hardly his fault. He deserved further praise for refusing to just hit high aimless crosses to no-one who could possibly benefit but instead tried to pick out a man individually with passes to feet. Virtually every attack we had was sounced through him because Stearman was a major disappointment tonight.

That's a very good point, BUT after 2 weeks of training with the lads and a full ninety minutes it'll be even more true.

I've no time for the "rushed in" excuses. If he's not fit don't play him. Simple as that. we could have played Cort or Ashley Chambers. John barely had a kick of any significance. In fact I find it genuinely hard to think of us having a shot of any significance.
