Bert Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Fulop 6 - No chance with the goal, didn't really have much else to do. Stearman 6 - At least he tried playing with some heart and passion. Sheehan 3 - Only a 3 'cos of the few decent balls he whipped in. N'Gotty 4 - Rubbish. Kisnorbo 5 - Rubbish. McAuley 6 - Average. Clem N/A Weso 7 - Best player on the park. Chambers - 5 Not a cenna mis. DJ 5 - Started off ok. Fryatt 5 - SHOOT FIRST FOOKIN TIME. Wasted our best chance. Subs - Newton 4 - One of his worst games ever. John 6 - Looked good. Porter 5 - Was always in acres of space, no one used him, looked at least half positive. Megson. What. A load. Of shit. We only really stepped up a gear after they scored, which is the same old story i guess, even then we didn't create a clear cut chance.
meadwell5 Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Not one player scored over 5 for me im afraid. Poor Poor Poor So were the fans who's only chant all day was negative. well do all round 3-5-2 is a good formation, just need two wing backs who can play it and an attacking midfilder.
TheBlinding Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Fulop 6 Weso 7 Sheehan 6 Stearman 3 Newton 3 Everyone else 5
Monk Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Could someone who was at the Charlton game give me a comparison please? I want to know how poor we really were.

Off the ball he hasn't got a clue what he's doing, hes always 5 yards away from his marker, constantly gave the ball away id give him a 0. I didn't see any passion at all. Stearman should fook off down to league 2. Worst player today. FFS get Kaebi in that position Nobody seems to like Newton, he was the only player actually trying to run forward with the ball.
Joe. Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Ratings for the team that played the majority of the game: Fulop 6- Couldn't do anything about the goal, not a lot else to do. Stearman 3- ****ing useless. N'Gotty 6- Didn't really notice him, pretty solid. Kisnorbo 6- See N'Gotty McAuley 4- Thought he was very poor tonight, distribution terrible. Sheehan 6.5- Looked fairly decent going forward and didn't do a lot wrong in my eyes Chambers 6- Looked good defensively, but is never going to offer a lot going forward. Weso 6.5- Worked the whole game, got some good tackles in. He was one of the only ones looking to do something with the ball. Newton 3- What an utter joke this player is. Get rid now. Fryatt 5- Couldn't get any service to be fair, but didn't show much movement. John 5- Like Fryatt, again, he received next to no service.
Simi Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Could someone who was at the Charlton game give me a comparison please? I want to know how poor we really were. Very, very close. Possibly worse. What a sh*t mentality Megson to football.
Monk Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Very, very close.Possibly worse. What a sh*t mentality Megson to football. bloody hell. must have been bad.
Joe. Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 bloody hell. must have been bad. It was. I don't think it was as bad as Charlton though to be honest.
Dames Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 I don't think its fair to be calling the strikers crap when we barely get the ball moving towards them and when we do its Route one. It pisses me off when we set our stall out everygame to just defend and be 'Hard to beat' and only looking to score off a set piece. The strikers do all they can with the piss poor to non existant service they get, you gotta remember they can't bomb down the field beating 11 players to score a goal can they?
foxer Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Fulop - 6 Sheehan - 4 N'Gotty - 5 Kisnobro - 5 McAuley - 6 Stearman - WANK Newton - 4 (looked lively for first ten mins after coming on) Weso - 7 Chambers - 6 (made some good tackels, shouldn't be playing there but had some passion to win 0 DJ - 4 Fryatt - 4 John - 6 (looks good which is surprising given that he has appauling service all night. Bet he cant wait for this three month stint to finish.) Porter - 5 The chanting said it all tonight for me "Megson for Bolton"
The Reverend Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Fulop- 6 - Hardly anything to do, but whatever he did do, did it pretty well. Stearman- 2 - The guy is utter guff, his head must've been turned by this Villa talk, becuase he isnt the same player he was 18 months ago. Bruno- 5 - Solid as usual, nothing really wrong Kissa- 3 - Met someone in Beattie of a different gravy to himself, stronger, quicker and more intelligent and better in the air. Also, horrendous distribution as usual. Big Mac- 5 - See Bruno. Sheehan - 4- A lot of running, but he is not quick enough or fit enough for a 3-5-2. Seems we are accomodating him for his left peg. Doesnt do a lot else in fairness. Weso- 6 - Good energy, passing was reasonable, but didnt seem as fit to me which is understandable. Also very very lucky to not get booked, 3 or 4 rash challenges and amazingly didnt get booked. Newton- 3 - Absoloutely horrendously bad, gave it away refused to take on his man, couldnt pass just not a central midfielder, just not a footballer. Chambers- 3 - See Newton. Feel sorry for him though, hes taking a hit for the team, but us getting puished for it big time. Clem- N/A Fryatt- 4 - Crap, just not strong enough, just not quick enough. DJ- 3 - Rubbish. John- 6 - Looked lively, a bit unfit and not too sharp but brought a much needed injection of pace and strength, but couldnt do a lot with the service and against a pretty well organised Sheff U.
danny. Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 stearman: -11 everyone else gets 4 apart from weso on 6
Wezleylowski Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 ------------------------------Fulop ----------------N'gotty-----G Mac-----Kisnorbo ---------Kaebi------------------------------------Sheehan -----------------------Weso--------Clem ------------------------------Hume -----------------------Fryatt--------John Could'nt be bothered to give ratings because none of them warrant any. So instead i decided to make the strongest side i could when everyones fully fit. It dont look half bad to me.
JoeyB Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 Fulop N'gotty G Mac KisnorboKaebi------------------------------------SheehanWeso ClemHumeFryatt John That is the team everyone wants to see, but its not going to happen anytime soon
danny. Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 ---------Kaebi he doesn't exist, he was just a gltich in the matrix...
Simon Posted 23 October 2007 Posted 23 October 2007 ------------------------------Fulop----------------N'gotty-----G Mac-----Kisnorbo ---------Kaebi------------------------------------Sheehan -----------------------Weso--------Clem ------------------------------Hume -----------------------Fryatt--------John It's so fooking obvious, surely? Everyone in the stands can see this as well! Ratings- not going to bother rating anyone other than Weso and Fulop who get 7s and Fryatt and John who get 6s for working their arses off and getting nothing back. I tell you what as I've calmed down a bit now I'll give Chambers a 5 for at least trying (when he's blatantly not a midfielder) and Stearman I'll even give 5 to, because he did work his little socks off. Everyone else gets 3. MEGSON UNDERSTAND THIS: JAMES CHAMBERS AND SHAUN NEWTON ARE NOT CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS OK?! Why the fook have we just sent Kish to Leeds when we have no central midfielders!!!!
