SOCCERROO FOX Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Hey guys just need a bit of help My brother won a Signed snooker que from Stephen Hendry in its case never been used the night he got it some guy offered him 500 pound but declined because we both don't know much about snooker. We have googled him and he is obviously decent but not sure how decent and just want to know how good he is and the rough value of the que.

If you're putting it on eBay, spell "cue" correctly or no-one will ever find it using the search facility.

Stephen Hendry in his prime is/was arguable the best snooker player of all time. I'm no expert but I'd suggest the cue itself is probabley worth about £100-£200 quid so signed, pfft, more a lot more than £500 I'd say.
James. Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Not as good now but arguably the greatest snooker player of all time. Dominated the 1990's. World Championship 1990, 1992-1996, 1999 UK Championship 1989, 1990, 1994-1996 No idea how much a signed cue would be worth. But I wouldn't be surprised to see it go for more than £500, particularly if it's a good quality cue as well.
purpleronnie Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Possibly the best player of all time. Also I remember him being very lucky aswell, oh and boring.

I'd keep it mate, Hendry was and for some still is a legend in the game, if you sell it in 20 years time in my honest opinion you could be easily talking 10 times what you have been offered.

Bert Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Quinten Hann. Took bribes and stuff. Hendry in his prime, arguably one of the best players ever. If you're going to sell it, wait 'til he's retired.

Slab of beer and you got a deal ---- So now that it seems like it could be worth a bit i think it will be worth wild getting it properly framed with a couple of pictures of Steven Hendry and a plaque on the actual frame with his details and achivements then sell it down the track
Raj Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Seriously dude, you wanna hold on to it. And its Stephen NOT Steven!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Hendry
