Simi Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 I usually come on here after a match and moan about shit stewards. But today, we actually had a steward who managed to employ some COMMON SENSE! Shock horror. Shockingly, no mass injuries occurred, nobody crowd surfed, nobody fell over 14 rows of seats. Well done to that steward in F1 today. Nice to see not once did he say anything.
Nath Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 And why was the ref so bad? Still being coached is probably one reason. Had two assesors watching him today aswell, which is odd. Normally only 1 Edit: Word was, mandaric had a meeting with Dowie yesterday. Dowie to resign Cov Monday.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 Word was, mandaric had a meeting with Dowie yesterday.Dowie to resign Cov Monday. Bollocks.
ronnup Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 Good result, decent performance... a real lack of Hoofball!!! Which was nice...And Thracian walked past me... were you wayching the same game as me? We belted it back to them for fourty minutes in the second half
Lillehamring Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 an oddly unbiased sounding reveiw from barnsley: review
TheBlinding Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 We didn't play particularly well, two set piece goals. Apart from one from Fryatt late on I can't remember their keeper making a save. Barnsley were pretty shite but no worse than Blackpool, Stoke or QPR. And I thought the ref had a good game, one of the better ones this season.
dandannieldanok Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 We've beaten the might of Barnsley now let's give those Chelsea boys a good thrashing. How did they get on today.....................
dandannieldanok Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 an oddly unbiased sounding reveiw from barnsley:review  Makes us sound like Brazil!
Nod.E Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 Proffession win. Weve won the match, 3 points at the end of the day no matter how you get them. I feel its essential now to string a run of wins together and push up that table while we have the chamce. Please don't be typical Leicester and go and play shite as soon as we have the opportunity to move up some places again! Lets take this chance now! I really hope this is the kick-start to the season. Then again we will probably go back to same old Leicester at Colchester!
Father Ted Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 N'Gotty was a rock. Bloody hell... makes me wonder how good he would of been 5 years ago... Hume didnt stop running, good play by newton to help set up the first nice finish by Collins.... C ollins looked good but he does seem to be a bit lazy.. sad to see him go off injured.... dont think he is fully fit yet so seems to be picking up these little niggling injuries..Wasnt impressed with Sheehan. he gave away the ball a few times, didnt really appear to do much... I have begun to notice that you either love him or hate him. I think he is a good player. He does all the basic's well and is reliable and a threat from set pieces. What else do you need? Although Mattock could well be a better answer at left back/wing back
AshbyFoxes Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 Have a look at this, its hilarious http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCWQcklvc3o
GO GADGET GO Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 I have begun to notice that you either love him or hate him. I think he is a good player. He does all the basic's well and is reliable and a threat from set pieces. What else do you need? Although Mattock could well be a better answer at left back/wing back Sheehan is the best threat from dead balls we have had for some time, including Joey who could sky it over the bar. Still quite young & has managed some progression during one of our worst runs of form in/for years, with some pretty dire management.
C-man Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 Barnsley were woeful. But I don't care I hdan't seen us win at home since February and i've only missed one game since then!
SamL Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 I usually come on here after a match and moan about shit stewards. The steward in E3 was pretty decent as well. No one told us to sit down, banged the back a few times. They seem to be showing signs of leniency Good result today. Anyone know about the injuries to Weso/Collins John?

SamL Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 Likewise at the back of E1. We had Harry Potter! Have you ever had the steward that doesnt look like a man nor woman?
Micky Ruddle Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 Newton had a poor game. Good set-piece play (free kick - goal), but that was all from him. Solid back line as per usual, and i thought Stearman had an alright game today. Not the biggest fan, by a long way, but did alright. Fulop, brilliant, as per usual. Can't fault the guy. SIGN HIM UP Good performance today, not the best, but certainly better than Tuesday night Have you ever had the steward that doesnt look like a man nor woman? Certainly have ain't we Sam.
Nod.E Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 Have you ever had the steward that doesnt look like a man nor woman? haha. No. And i hope i dont! I would be insecure due to his precence. I wouldn't know whether to be concerned about being touched up by a bender or a simply butt ugly woman! You can tell the kind of species I attract!
Joe. Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 haha. No. And i hope i dont! I would be insecure due to his precence. I wouldn't know whether to be concerned about being touched up by a bender or a simply butt ugly woman! You can tell the kind of species I attract! Benders and butt-ugly women?
Nod.E Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 Benders and butt-ugly women? Gays and mingers. homosexuals and un-attractive women
Joe. Posted 27 October 2007 Posted 27 October 2007 Gays and mingers.homosexuals and un-attractive women  I know what they are. I was just suggesting the types you attract
