kaebi wants to leave with nielson in the transfer window

If that's true it would only emphasise what's been said. He's not shown himself good enough for English football and has no stomach for the idea of taking the time to learn.

It could be, of course, that the club have already told him they don't think he'll feature but whatever, although the guy has undoubted talent, I really don't see his future here and the sooner he moves on the better for both parties.

There's a few more I'd put in the same bracket.

If we ditch him, Kaebi will make us rue the day we let him go, I'm pretty sure of that.

Definitely. I bet his failings are more down to the club than him, whatever Thracian says. We should be able to turn an international right back into a better player than Richard Stearman.

I'd get Amnesty International involved if I was the Iranian government.

You forget that Thracian has an eye for a player which is second to none.

It was he who tipped Chris O Grady and Louis Dodds to be the stars of the future and look at them now, tearing it up in the premi.... ah.

That's the truest thing heard all day.

To be fair we should be able to turn Richard Stearman into a better player than Richard Stearman. The potential's there, he doesn't look overly lazy, he's just inconsistant.

I've thought about that. City clearly didn't get the best out of Yeates and I've just wondered how he might do in a more attacking role - right midfield or in front of the two central midfielders as I suggested for Porter.

But still I don't quite see it. He's 40 years too late for English football and even then, when I talk about him being cultured compared to Stearman, he'd have been totally eclipsed by the skillful players of that time.

I've not seen enough of him to be certain but my guess is that he'll return to warm country football where the pace of the game is not so frantic. That would suit him better because he does have close contol and he can pass and move.

For England though he simply doesn't have the strength, stamina, awareness and sheer determination required. Nor does he have any special something that sets him apart. To me that's just too many minuses.

I honestly hope he does himself justice somewhere but I don't think anyone here will correct the faults he's got in our football any faster than we could.

Cue him playing brilliantly tonight for the reserves - assuming he's in the team. :D

Do keep an eye out and see if there's anything slightly more optimistic that you can tell us. :/

I see him coming into the squad about christmastime for some reason.

Do we really ever get the best out of our players though? The only player that springs to mind who we have bought over the last few years who has improved is Kisnorbo.

McAuley and Hume have gone from being good in their old divisions to good in the Championship. Does that count?

When relatively class (for this division) players like Maybury take huge backward leaps though, you have to wonder.

Pace.

You'd think that but I've not seen him use it greatly going forward and, defensively, I've never seen a professional full-back get skinned by so many yards in such a short distance as he did against West Brom.

I'll look out for it tonight but sometimes footballers can have athletic pace in a straight line but never really use it on a football field. Sylla was a bit like that.

He had pace but I never saw him really run at anyone.

why isnt kaebi playin or the likes of ferriera, dejirizi or hellings being used :S . People are moaning about midfielders well most of these can play in midfield and all theyve done is play in the reserves at hinckley and from what ive seen ,kaebi should be in the squad at least

If Kaebi is supposed to be that god, I watched a fully fit Kaebi in the reserves against a West Brom team and a guy for The Baggies called Serjhill MacDonald, a Dutchman, who hasn't really played for them absolutely annihalated Kaebi in terms of fitness, pace and general skill - so maybe even some of our other Championship teams aren't playing their best players??

Hope youve not been to pissed off by all the blatherers on here. The truth about kaebi is he plays a game for the reserves and then in havung treatment so is not strong enough. Whether they can build him up i dont know but he is not fit enough.

kaebi is not playing coz he is good at RAM(Right Attacking Midfield) and the manager uses him in the reserves in the defensive positions (lb,rb) which he is not good at-therefor the manager aint impressed and doesnt let him play up the park. Even in national team he is always better as an attacking player. Anyway i think the problem is the different managers come and go and think its to risky to use him and dont give him a chance to prove himself.
