ASH17LCFC Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Not that bad i suppose but we need a midfield badly.
Father Ted Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Not that bad i suppose but we need a midfield badly. How do you know this? You support Leeds!
Koke Posted 6 November 2007 Author Posted 6 November 2007 Quite impressed that the midfield is holding their own consedering the circumstances.
Matt Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 To be fair I agree with the point that if you draw your away games win your home you'll be up there in the top half at the end of the season, so it's what we've asked for, when it happens, and when its just draw after draw its abit frustrating, follow these 3 away draws up with a win on Saturday and I think we'll al be fairly happy. If we don't win on Saturday
simonthefox Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Good result at a difficult away ground against a good team especially considering we're down to the bare bones.
Leicester Lass Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Another point away from home will do us nicely, if we can just start to get some consistency at home then things could look a bit more promising. Bring on Burnley!
Jack Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Deepdale is a hard place to go. Relatively happy with the point considering our injury problems and lack of midfielders.
SamL Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 If we win on saturday this will be looked on as a good result. If we lose on saturday then we will be thinking if only we'd have won today. Get a new manager in and see what happens, we never know what can happen. If we're there or there abouts in january, bring in some players then anything can happen. Come on you blues!
BigGibbo Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Its o.k i would of taken a draw at the start given the circumstances were due a win at Burnley i fancy it can't wait 16th now so not great
simonthefox Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Quite impressed that the midfield is holding their own consedering the circumstances. Who would have thought we'd be saying that about a midfield consisiting of Darren Kenton and Shaun Newton...
potter3 Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Spose it's a decent point, but it feels like we could of won this How do you know this? You support Leeds!
ASH17LCFC Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Still too many draws ... We need to be turning them into wins and thats gotta start at the walkers. We need to win at home and draw on our travels.
mkingy Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Still too many draws ... We need to be turning them into wins and thats gotta start at the walkers. We need to win at home and draw on our travels. So why are you complaining? Definately good away point, shame we couldn't have knicked it at the end.
Lillehamring Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 could have won it, could have lost it, a fair result then... God, this is the most indifferent i've been all season, remember when it was really exciting....
ASH17LCFC Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 So why are you complaining?Definately good away point, shame we couldn't have knicked it at the end. We need to start winning at home first though.
Scow Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Considering we have no recognised midfelders available, excluding Andy King, who is coming back from injury and has only played a few games, then a point is a good result. I'm only going by what has been said on the radio (and you can never trust it) but we created a couple of clear-cut chances and could have grabbed all 3 points.
WetFlannel Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 an ok point but bores sometimes seem to frustrate me more than losses, i dont know why but they feel so negative... oh well im a big nonce. ill get over it

Get a new manager in and see what happens, we never know what can happen. If we're there or there abouts in january, bring in some players then anything can happen. Come on you blues! I agree. If we just tag along up until January and make sure we stil got contact with the top half then anything can happen. Some good signings and we could do a Wednesday and just sprint up the table. Not holding my breath on it though. Home games is MUST win games though. And if we don't win against Burnley on Saturday then it really is atrocious.
CKB Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Who would have thought we'd be saying that about a midfield consisiting of Darren Kenton and Shaun Newton... Doesn't have to be that tho does it? i mean don't we have some people in the reserves, NOT mentioning any names..but surely it's worth just giving them a go Hell i'd rather just stick two youth players in midfield, least they are MIDFIELDERS.. Darren Kenton, Shaun Newton and James Chambers midfield is laughable, Newton and Kenton for me shouldn't even be starters and Chambers should be right back replacing that excuse for a footballer Stearman

Once Clemence, Hume, King and Weso are all 100% fit, then I see no excuse whatsoever to still be playing Richard ****ing Stearman at right back. Its Chambers position and he owns it.
ASH17LCFC Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Guy on the radio's pissed. Probally just paid all that money to go and watch them.
FleckneyFox Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 im happy preston have won 3 drawn 3 and lost 1 @ lost one at home this season so decent result in my eyes
