willy37 Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 i thought he was superb again today. The only positive to come out of the game Playing centre mid he looked strong quick and was good in the tackle. fair play to the guy
Mack Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 I agree, so why was he taken off for a headless chicken of a player? It makes you want to scream at someone in frustration, but WHO? An old bloke who has already admitted he does'nt even want to be Manager of the team? Come on Milan, we are out of time now, we need someone for the long haul in charge and we dont need a nobody.

Simi Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Yeah he did well. Was actually unfortunate to be substituted. He's done well there two games in a row now, playing out of position he's done very well.
Matt Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Yep, Best of a bad bunch, granted, and it wouldn't have been hard to have been the best Leicester player today but he was pretty good
Jimmy Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 he is a great holding midfielder and worth his place in the team. that was by far our worst performance of the season, the lack of movement in our team is fooking disgraceful and Carl Cort is the worst culprit of all. you can't tell me Marco Ferreira, Hossain Kaebi, Sergio Hellings, Ricky Sappleton or Ashley Chambers aren't good enough for THAT team
Staf Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 I agree well played to Kenton today i was slating him last year but this year he has been very good well played Kenton
Bert Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Best player today. No-one else offered anything. You could see how dissapointed he was when he came off, but at least it was a positive change when he was subbed.
Jimmy Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Best player today. No-one else offered anything. You could see how dissapointed he was when he came off, but at least it was a positive change when he was subbed. yeah we should of taken clem off
Lovejoy Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Although he did play ok, did anyone else see him stand for 10 seconds in the centre circle with his hands on hips before suddenly running off when he realised everyone else was playing.

He does that sort of thing a lot, but then so do many others. Have you watched how they amble aimlessly away from the penalty area when Fulop has the ball and is looking for a quick pass - he invariably gives up and hoofs it - badly as it happens

Have you watched how they amble aimlessly away from the penalty area when Fulop has the ball and is looking for a quick pass - he invariably gives up and hoofs it - badly as it happens Yeah absolutely! To be frank I have never seen such a lack of movement in one side over 90 minutes as today. Reflects badly on Fulop too, like you say he's no better option.
lcfc_jme Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Kenton was our best player again today, not that he was outstanding, though. I think it's saying something when a defender playing in midfield is your best player. And it's not saying anything positive, that's for sure. Fair play to the lad though, he's doing a solid, professional job playing out of position.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 A defender playing in a defensive midfield role against an awful team at home - shouldn't really have enough to do to be proclaimed as a team's best player. Credit where it's due, good performance, but it just reflects so badly on the team performance as a whole.
Joe. Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 I think Kenton's surprising many people in his midfield role, and he's certainly impressed me. He does his job well, nothing too spectacular but he's definitely playing well for us at the moment. Even today when the team performance was very poor, Kenton came out of the game with credit and deservedly so.
Yaxx Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 I agree, I thought Kenton was our best player out there today - so why the hell take him off? Complete nonsense.
Joe. Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 I agree, I thought Kenton was our best player out there today - so why the hell take him off? Complete nonsense. Ermm... not really. Kenton's defensive. We were 1-0 down. We bring on a striker. Fair right?
Yaxx Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Ermm... not really. Kenton's defensive. We were 1-0 down. We bring on a striker. Fair right? Yes, I can see it made a hell of a difference.
lcfc_jme Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Yes, I can see it made a hell of a difference. Not today, no. But in future games if we're 1-0 down, would you rather us remove a midfielder or a striker and bring on another defender, signalling we're happy to settle for a 1-0 defeat?
Monk Posted 10 November 2007 Posted 10 November 2007 Yeah, he had an OK game, kudos for effort and some crucial tackles when they were on the break.
Daz.I Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 I agree the only one prepared to stick a foot in when it counted and because he isn't one of our bigger names he subbed him
